Pretty good tilt between a couple of heavyweights, which we're not seeing much of these days. It looked like a solid draw to me.

Edge, Shelley, especially for Hordi getting the jump. Shelley fought like he wanted to kill him and Hordi looked like he wanted to end it with the death hug, but Jody was having none of that.

That was a great little tilt!

Shelley didn't look much interested to begin, until Hordichuk persuaded him with a couple of Hihowyadoin's.

Sometimes I think you cats care more about what you're gonna post on this board than you do about watching and enjoying a good hockey fight?

Who cares what the polls say? My poll says "****en' Eh! Good job boys!"

Oh and also in case you morons calling it a draw missed it, it was clearly a TKO win for Hordichuk. (I heard it on the TV)

I've been right here... which is why I've gone on record and said there should be a 300-500 minimum post count to be able to vote...

More than half of the results are ridiculous.

I've seen COUNTLESS examples where a guy doesn't land a single punch and is the voted winner (throwing and landing a punch are two different things). It's unintelligible.

i think part of it is the voting itself. people look for any reason to give someone a W, when in reality most hockey fights are draws.

Two of this generations greats meet up once again for Round#9 in one of the longest rivalries that's still going! And boy did these guys give us another beauty!

Solid draw which puts this classic matchup to 4 wins for Shelley, 2 wins for Darcy, with 3 solid fights going for draws. (Hordichuk with a TKO)

In a season full of letdown, these vets gives us all one more reason to cheer them on! This is a season highlight in my books, two of my all-time favs at it again, classic!

It's going to be a sad day when these two oldies are gone. Throw-backs to a time in the NHL that's already passed us by.

That was a great fight, in spite of the jump of Shelley by Hordichuk. It ended up a solid draw. I love to see fights like that, with both participants throwing strong punches. Shelley showed great balance in that one.

Jumped? I watched the video and they were both facing one another when the fight started. How do you jump someone who's looking right at you? Is there another angle that I didn't see?

We've all watched it. I think the point is that Shelley was watching him drop his gloves and throw - it's not like he needed a written invitation.

They were standing together for TWELVE SECONDS before Hordi dropped... watch the clip again. They faceoff together and don't come apart. Twelve seconds. NOBODY knows what was said... maybe Hordi finally got tired of talking... Maybe he told him 40 times they were going and no way out of it...

I've had a good laugh at all the guys saying "jumped" when they were facing each other and Shelley took forever to go...

NOBODY on this site knows if it was a jump because you don't know what was said...

It wasn't from behind. Twelve full seconds together. We don't know what was said. The rest is speculation.

When did I deny that?

Just try to stick to the discussion... I know it's hard, but try...We're not talking about their first shift together... we're talking about their scrap.

Did they not stay together for 12 seconds off the draw? How in God's Holy and Precious name is that "jumping"....

If you are having trouble grasping how long that is, I suggest counting out loud for 12 seconds... See how many times you can say "you wanna go" in 12 seconds...

Do you think they were talking about their book club for 12 seconds?

How do you know that wasn't Shelley declining for 12 seconds until Hordi game him no choice? You don't... neither do I. All speculation.... as is your term "jumping".

Have you actually watched the clip?
