Pretty much every Flyer fan has posted in this thread, and every Flyer fan so far has stated Rinaldo lost to Thornton. What more are you expecting someone to say about it? You want us to stick around and act like hockey_doc and start counter-trolling so you can justify to yourself why every thread you post in eventually goes to sh*t? Srehm (one of the Bruins fans who actually has credibility on here) makes an observation about Thornton's willingness to fight a MW like Rinaldo at the drop of the hat but seemed not so willing to make a statement to Orr and you can't refute it or look at it objectively so you try to drag Flyers fans back so you can whine about them later after this gets locked. "Who me? I just responded to the Flyers fans I'm constantly trying to bait into a flame war. can't blame me, I'm the victim here!" You are so transparent.

After making fun of the Bruins fight totals for weeks, it seems that certain Flyer fans either didn't want to show up or kept it brief....seems transparent to me. Plus tflyer is constantly being a pest towards Bruins fans.

I don't really recall the Orr incident of running around to be similar to Rinaldo. I did not see Saturday's game, but in the Boston/Toronto game, Orr tried to spark his team with about 10-12 minutes to play, delivers a decent check to Seidenburg, totally crushes Campbell into the boards. After Orr served the two, I don't recall seeing him much for the rest of the game. Especially the last two minutes when Toronto pulled the goaltender. Prior to that, neither Orr or Thornton showed much interest in going, where the pace of the game, and the score dictated that. I'm pretty positive Thornton would issue a challenge if he felt Orr was taking liberties.

simmonds is probably the best fighter on the team, but he would still lose to erskine. i heard erskine in an interview say he actually called simmonds on the phone to apologize and explain it was an accident. im sure its water under the bridge for these two, but its still a good talking point for message board nerds.

Was this directed at yourself? If so, it's post of the year material.
Sorry to quote you in between these two knuckleheads. I think you got it spot on. It was Simmonds' fight if he wanted it. He's our best fighter and and he was the one who got elbowed. I think he either accepted Erskine's apology and moved on or thought of it as a case of "what's the point, Erskine knows I'm a tough player so fighting him and probably losing to him isn't really going to send a message." It would definitely be nice if someone else would have stepped up for him but the current Flyers have a crop of willing middleweights but no one bigger. I obviously don't like it but it is what it is. P.s. You're a few weeks behind on the Dead Jams of the Week. Keep em coming buddy. Quote:

I don't think, nor did I ever say that Thornton ducked Orr, but if Thornton was wearing a Flyers jersey and he fought a middleweight over clean checks and not a heavyweight who was doing the same thing, you'd be all over him and you know it, I know it, we all know it. You're so f*cking boring. Quote:
