As far as the Neil fight goes, Schenn didn't even get his gloves off before Neil was hitting him. He gets the win just off the element of surprise. If they were to have an actual square off, I think Neil would still win but he wouldn't be as much of a douche for it...

that said I have no problem with this at all, Neil did a classic enforcer move, I would have loved Orr to have reacted in kind and kicked Karlsson or Cowan's ass. Schenn and Neil have gone what three or four times now, and this was the biggest beating he had. |

Some pretty average scraps. Thought Orr might have engaged Neil or Konopka at some point but he seemed to prefer jawing from the bench. Hope he's saving himself for Carkner's return, whenever that may be, but I suspect he's not going to fight as much this year and we'll see Rosehill share a lot more of his role. Why is it concussion never seems to impact the players you wouldn't mind having to tone down the scrapping, say Stortini for example?

Battle of Ontario offered us two fights, good. Konopka fought as he promised us but he should have picked Colton Orr. I liked the Neil fight much more, win for him.
Senators fans will be happy this season

Slight edge to Brown over Kenopka. Brown lands 2 punches to Z's one. For all the yapping Kenopka did in the papers about hating Toronto, his response was pathetic.
A draw for Schenn in Neil's ambush of him. Neil got bloodied so Schenn must've connected somewhere in there. Typical cowardly attack by Neil.

At first I thought that Neil spot-picked, but after the replay was shown it turned out differently. Win Neil. Win Brown in the other marathon crapfest.
