Fair enough. I just think plays like that can get embellished, or just don't appear as bad as the media wants to portray it.

I mean this got 1 game suspension (in the playoffs no less), and I didn't think it was that bad.

Granted that was pre-Shannapuss, so you would think Alfredsson will get suspended although I don't think he should at all.

In a twisted way, the best news here is that a soft player like Lundin is presumably out for a bit. So, the Senators might call up a tough player to take his spot in light of what took place today.

I wouldn't call that a turtle, maybe embellish but not a turtle. He got hit with a stick in the head and seeing it was Alfredsson he was probably expecting more sticks to the head because you know he isn't going to fight.

This team is a joke. McLean talking about Alfie's cross check protecting themselves? 2nd bottom in the league in majors, no fight from Neil. So disappointing.

I love guys like Neil when they man up, but Neil has done exactly what Rinaldo did today in the past.

I get it was a tough game, but he could force the issue.

Neil was quick to try and get Schenn to go, but when Simmonds came over nothing happened. Not saying Neil is afraid by any means but a fight presented itself and he wanted something easier. Neil has a history of that.

I hate that we waived Sestito to keep Harry Z in the line up, but I must say I love how he hits guys. Out there looking to destroy someone not just lay them out.

With him & Rinaldo on the ice you better keep your head up and move the puck quick or you're going to get lit up.
