I called a draw in the first one in a good fight.
The second one was an edge/win Smith, Campbell didn't get anything going. At least both fights were visorless which makes me rate them significantly higher on the voting page.

Thornton tried to fight John Scott not too long ago after the **** he was talking, Scott didn't want to go. He fought Colton Orr already this season. What else do you want him to do?

"FCM - Thornton fights Moen, then Konopka. Weak."
Moen is Montreal's toughest guy and Konopka has the most fighting majors in the NHL....Who the F*** do you think he should fight???? Look at Thornton's Fight Card before you make a dump statement. He does what has to be done no matter who it is...he gets the team sparked!!! I don't post here a lot and I am on the site everyday but every so often something is said that makes no sense so I question it. Please back up your statement as to who he should have fought. Thank You

With all due respect....that's just BS. Thorton is as tough as any player in the league...never backs down...and actually contributes to the team. He's the perfect policeman. Both players you are faulting him for fight are no shrinking violets. You start throwing your weight around when Thorton is out there and you will have to answer for it. Thorton does his job, EXTREMELY well. You don't like him? That's another matter.

Ive been pumping Thorntons tires for a few years now. Yes,prefect enforcer. Will fight fight anyone, doesnt take dumb penalties, always takes someone to the box with him. He's not a heavyweight in the sense of Big Mac,Scott,McGratton, but he far much more value than those guys. Takes a valuable shift, contributes offensively on occasion, brings energy, whats not to like? Slight edge to Thornton over Konopka. I wished him and Neil went. They've had some good ones in the past.

Konopka is heavier than Thorts you can tell and Moen is taller, but that aside a fight is a fight no matter the weight or height. I have met thorton and he in no way in hell is even 200 nor 6'1 more like 5'11 he is more built like Steve Begin and i am serious, that is why i am very surprized he is still alive doing this fighting

I dont know, they list Thornton at 6'2/217 and Konopka at 6'/213,so there fairly even in terms of size. Meaningless though, because one of the toughest all time was only 5'8/185. Stan Jonathan!
