I know, I just wanted to highlight the fact that Thornton has fought two guys out of his weight class and didn't manage to beat them. He drew with Travis Moen a couple of days ago, and he drew tonight with the DragonBall character.

So what? He fights. Be happy for that.

Agreed, I think Neil would like another shot at Lucic as the first time they met Lucic gave it to him good but Neil did not give up. I would welcome that scrap again.

Z. Smith got boarded by Horton and they came together for a discussion before Horton went to the box. I really hope those two find each other, their first fight was a classic.

I think we're seeing the future of the NHL in this game. Two tough teams, each without a heavyweight yet full of players who can take a shift and play tough. If either team had a MacIntyre type goon in this game he'd have been tossed after his second shift for some trumped up penalty just to get rid of him.

Which is good. They may not be the best fighters, but they can play the game pretty damn good.

Pretty decent scrap Smith/Campbell, Edge Smith. Smith looked to land a couple but also looked to have a bloody lip

Haven't seen the Thornton Vs Konopka yet cause I was still at work but that last one was an edge to Smith.

Thornton-Konopka- Draw

Campbell-Smith- Edge Smith

Can't believe no one went after Neil. He was running around all night and was just itching for a fight but nothing, oh well. Still 5 more meetings between the 2 teams.

The Sens have been entertaining this year. A few decent fights, some physical play and full effort for 60 minutes.

Can't believe I missed both even if I watched 95% of this game.

Konopka listed at 211 lbs and Thornton is listed at 202lbs. What's you problem with weight class? By the way, Moen is listed at 215. So please explain to me why the lightest guy is the one who is fighting "two guys out of his weight class?" If you're worried about weight, they both have it over Thornton.
