Walker and Sestito will play a handful of games. Simmonds will add grit, Shelley and Rinaldo can go all out.

Well said. This is the Flyers problem right now. Shelley is useless and I think Sestito may have just cost himself a job as his replacement. I have been reading that Lavi and Holmgren are very high on Matt Walker, so I really hope they find some way to fit him in.

Also, I think Rinaldo makes this team.

i think rinaldo makes the team too. id love to see walker make the top 6, but it sounds like they might just be posturing to trade him.

I agree Shelley just isnt the Shelley of old. Even though I was never a fan of him realy anyway.I wouldnt care if he was gone tomorrow. As for Sestito $hit happends. Dont think they will base him making the team on one dumb play. As much as I would love him to start the season its not gonna happen even if that hit didnt happen.

Not a smart play by Sestito at all plowing into Deveaux like that (who had a rough game after he got drilled from behind by Talbot later as well). Good work by Bickel to waste no time coming to the defense of his teammate.

I do really like what I've seen from Dale Weise this preseason, but while he has willingness, he doesn't seem to have a ton of pugilistic prowess, as Rinaldo roughed him up pretty good.

And as awesome as it would have been to see Simmonds pummel Sean Avery, it would be far more than we could realistically expect from Sean to give Simmonds that opportunity.

I can give you a reason why Sestito won't make the team, he can't fracking skate. That check from behind was the most acceleration he ever had. What did he start up from behind his own goal line to muster up that speed. The guy can't skate. His fighting is also questionable.

Avery was so funny! I dont get why people hate him he causes sh!t so people will fight thats what we need. I understand why people hate Maxi Pad but not this guy. It will lead to more brawls and fights in the fututre which is what we want. If it takes a cheap shot to start it well sure Ill take it.

Bickel went crazy! I loved to see that!
