Weise vs Rinaldo

Both drop the gloves and skate towards the neutral zone to square off. Both start throwing heavy hard punches with no defense. Weise gets cut and is off the to the locker room for repairs. Rinaldo with the quick win. Refs step in because the jersey is over Weise's head.

Avery and Simmonds yapping at each other. Sestito just boarded/charged Deveaux. Game is getting good early.

Dumb run at Deveux by Sestito. Bickle responds with punches, lots of push and shove ensues. Lost of talking. Avery and Simmonds, not enough punching.

Yea he got creamed by Brad Mills. Brad mills also messed up Weise. Weise can't fight, it's not that Rinaldo can so much although he's willing and I hope he makes the team.

Rinaldo is a good fighter Orr4 but not great from what I have seen. He got TKO'ed by Newbury I think last year. He certainly brings a lot to a hockey game and really pummeled Weise in this fight.

Nice little line scuffle but like FF said, not enough punches. Avery will fight either Simmonds or Rinaldo tonight as he landed a nice cheapshot on Simmonds in the scuffle.

weise looked like he got the first punch in, than rinaldo took over w/ rights and jersey jabs and pretty much owned weise. cant wait to see him fight carcillo.

Rinaldo is extremely active but actually pretty terrible when it comes to fighting, winning that fight like that was a big surprise to me. Good showing by him or probably just a bad showing by Weise.

Sestito will get a least 5 games, probably more for that board. This will be a good marker to see how much Shanny weighs a players past suspensions. Anyways, Bickel jumps on him and starts throwing punches and there is a big pile up with Walker trying to find someone and throwing a few shots at the back of Deveux's head. After a few seconds of chaos the camera shows a jerseyless Sestito throwing uppercuts at a hunched over Bickel before they go to the ice behind the net.

Sometime during that 'fight' Walker and Deveux lock up but seem content to just grapple it out so they don't get a secondary altercation penalty. Simmonds is being held by Boyle from behind as him and Avery jaw at each other. Hopefully they will go later.

Avery was going to fight Simmonds but then he tripped on a quarter and his hand wound up on top of his head for a second. I think there was a spider on his head or something.

Avery is trying to make this team. He drew and penalty after previously punching simmonds in the face during the scrum. Avery played it right for a guy in his position. Avery is a spot picker, as he has clearly fought many a tough guy before. Just now, he needs to draw penalties so torts will put him on the ice sometime this year.
Expect a 10 gamer on the cheap shot from behind that started everything.

Finally. Weise can't fight for ****. Never ever seen the kid win a fight.
