watched it again first time since game and around same amount of punches landed for each. pretty much a draw mabe neil for throwing him around a bit but pretty close. Like I have been saying since game 2 dont dress mitchel or rupp and dress John Scott . I doubt Scott will ever play as a ranger again but he should have. To be honest Im pretty sure Scott could do what rupp has been doing playing for 2 min a game and taking dumb penalties how much worse could he do and he can play foreward and defense. Game 7 should be good it will be neil hitting everything in sight and rupp watching with his tail between his legs. Interested to see if neil run dz after hearing his post game comments.

Win, Neil. Good post season bought. Wished there was more emotion from every team in the Post season!

Slight edge to Neil. Kudos to Prust for standing up to Neil. Rangers should be lining up a tough guy alongside Neil every shift goading him to fight. He is much more valuable to the Senators on the ice then in the penalty box this series. Bring out Scott and have him fight Neil. If Neil refuses the invitation, have someone hold up Neil so Scott can catch and pummel him. Since Scott is really not playing anyway, who cares if he gets suspended for a game or two. Rupp goes on the ice, makes a questionable penalty, gets an earful from Tortorella and then is afraid to play his game. I fault Tortorella and not Rupp - but somehow the Rangers won the game anyway and did out physical the Senators over all. Rangers were way quicker. Hagelin and Kreider bring so much speed and energy and the Senators can not skate with them at all. If Tortorella has any sense at all he will do everything he can to have guys fight Neil. Carkner has to either fight or stay off the ice. What a liability he has been for the Senators.

I blame Torts. He is not the type of coach anybody on the site likes. He doesnt like fighters. He's the reason they got rid of Orr and also the reason Avery is done. Could you imagine the fireworks if Avery was playing in this series. I know many of you hate Avery but think of the entertainment value. He certainly would have made things alot more interesting. Torts sucks the big one and hate seeing his face on the Ranger bench.

As long as the hits aren't dirty, WTF is wrong with hitting a "star"? Are they untouchable - except from other "stars"? I usually agree with Cherry, but in this case IMO he's wrong.

Win Neil.. Prust pretty much hung on for most of the fight, but I guess he had to do what he needed to do.

Not sure why everyone is ragging on Rupp because of a Prust loss.. Prust can handle Neil, just didn't happen in this fight and somehow I think Neil would do just fine against Rupp anyway...

Edge Neil, Love how he's always doing his best to spark his team wether it be through throwing hands or laying someone out with a solid hit.

Rupp wears Neil pajamas when he sleeps at this point, seriously what a fucking vagina!

Hell, even that big goofy bastard Boyle took a few from Carkner and later threw down with Neil!!

Great example of a playoff fight taking place after both combatants did something to help bring it about. I'd give Neil the narrow victory. He's had a great series for the Sens, even though this game ended up in a losing effort.

The cbc feed of the fight. gives a better view of some of the punches. Also better with Cole's description.

Ok

Neil with the slight edge. Prust actually lands the best shot but Neil Controlled the fight.
Prust sparked the Rangers and that is all that counts. In the post and news all the players were talking about not letting Prust down after he took on Neil. Good Nasty series...game 7 should be a doozie
