Draw in the Dubi vs Clarkson bout. Dubi is so hit and miss when it comes to fighting. He will get beat on by Mike Green, but be able to hold his own against someone like Clarkson. It's weird.

Surprised Boulton couldn't find a partner tonight, I'de really like to see him get busy.
Prust apparently had a bad shoulder last night. I too wanted to see Boulton and Prust fight. I probably would have lost it if there were two fights off that opening face-off.

It should have been Rupp vs Boulton. That would have been a decent fight. Cam is a gamer but he's not as good a fighter as Boulton who is much more capable of dealing with the likes of Rupp. Prust would have then fought Cam even with a bad shoulder imo...

Rupp is 4-0 against Boulton.

Yeah. It seems like Janssen has jumped in a taken a few scraps this season that really should have been Boulton's. Janssen is game and not afraid of anyone, but he's gotta let the real HW get a crack at the big boys.

Yep good point so Boulton at least stood a chance of making it 4-1 then

Seems as if Boulton is content on collecting a check at the moment..

Nice. Honestly the 4-0 record surprises me because Boulton has beaten tougher but Rupp has had his number so far. Wouldn't surprise me to see that change but I think Janssen could maybe catch Rupp also. I thought the fight was pretty close but Rupp happened to tag Janssen early and I thought he hurt him a little bit. Rupp used his smarts and never let Janssen relax like he liks to do so the late rally didn't have the steam it usually does. The grab Rupp was able to get when Janssen got to hugging was key. He got the jersey wrapped around Janssen's mouth and the restricted breathing and added stress helped a lot. I think either could win one against Rupp but I hope it doesn't happen anytime soon.

Looked like Rupp was gonna hammer Jannsen early but Jannsen held on and did enough to earn a draw IMO. I love Rupp but I can't give him a win for that. He looked like he needed to be hooked up to an oxygen tank at the end of that fight and Jannsen seemed like he still wanted to throw. Draw.

To this day, I still don't understand why people give points for takedowns.

Typical Rangers vs Devils game, gotta love the opening faceoff. Cam was ready to go for another minute as always and Rupp wanted out in the end.. Pitty Boulton did not find his way to Prust

Points should be taken away for takedowns. It's a glorified form of bailing.

If you watch the MSG feed Boulton challenges Prust. Janssen said that Prust had a shoulder injury and that's why they left him alone out of respect. He has a hurt right shoulder. Maybe Prust told Boulton that at the opening faceoff. They were definitely talking. The quotes came from Janssen after the game.

Boulton is out of Prust's league, why would he fight him? Last year Boulton pummeled him and Tortorella lost it afterwards.
