Rupp started out as if he would earn the decision, but Thornton came on strong at the end with a few solid ones. Win Thornton.

Nice bomb by Bickel than stunned and bloodied Campbell. Stu is a lot of fun to watch. Win Bickel.

If Bickel were a Bruin we'd be hearing about how he doesn't take on any HW's!

Bruins and Rangers picking up where they left off.

Thornton finally gets over the hump against Rupp with a win. Thornton spent more time than usual this offseason with boxing and grappling, and so far it looks like it's paid off. The old man has still got it.

Win Bickel in the second fight. Campbell needs to stick to lightweights and let McQuaid handle the middles. He has way more heart than skill when it comes to fighting.

Thornton vs Rupp:
Nice scrap here, Thorts looked good against a guy who has given him fits. Rupp started out pretty welll (he seems to always get the jump on Thornton) but Thornton came back landing the more significant punches, including one that busted up Rupps snout. Win Thornton.

Bickel vs Campbell:
Not much of a scrap here, very short, lots of wild shots. Bickel landed a bomb towards the end that looked to put Campbell off balance. Win Bickel.

Impressive win by Thornton over Rupp. Each season his fighting skills go up another notch.

Bickel definitely got the best shot in against Campbell, but it was too quick to be anything other than a Draw.

Great game overall. Hockey is back!

Was thinking the same thing myself, if the roles were revered this thread would be well over 10 pages.

Right on about Campbell but ya gotta love the dude. One thing's for sure, he won't have any regrets once his playing days are gone. The kid is game!

Rupp is bigger and stronger but Thornton got a few more shots in for the win.

I saw that shot by Bickell and it was close to a KO punch. He must not have had much on it or Campbell dodged it a little.

Win Thornton. Not sure why Rupp, with a big reach advantage, can't hit Thornton in the face, his punches came up real short. Kind of a crappy fight with a lot more misses than hits.

Win Bickel. Campbell is game but not very good at fighting.

Thornton-Rupp looked pretty even throughout most of the bout, but Thornton was able to land late and pick up the decision.

And Bickel gets the decision in the second tilt over Campbell.

Michael Rupp vs Shawn Thornton-Win Thornton.

Stu Bickel vs Gregory Campbell-Win Bickel.
