Michael Rupp vs Shawn Thornton Jan 19, 2013 -...

Rupp v Thornton in a long one. Seemed pretty even, lots of rights thrown not much was landing other than jersey jabs, then Thornton scored with a big right late for the win. Rupp was bleeding from the mouth/nose in the box.

Vote: Stu Bickel vs Gregory Campbell Jan 19, 2013
Stu Bickel vs Gregory Campbell Jan 19, 2013 -...

Bickel v Campbell in a short one. Bickel landed a right hand bomb that staggered Campbell.

Back to back fights first game back. Good action. Jack Edwards is still a homer.

Mike Rupp - Shawn Thornton

They drop them off a face off and lock each other out. Rupp is more active early but Thornton is ducking every punch he throws while trying to sneak a few in that come up short. This goes on for awhile and Thornton then gets Rupp off balance with a stiff jersey jab and follows with a beauty of a short right to the beak. After that Thornton lands another stiff jersey jab and they both miss a couple before Rupp throws a right that misses and causes him to fall to the ice. I know, shocking. Win Thornton. Rupp bleeding.

Stu Bickel - Gregory Campbell

They drop them off the ensuing face off. They are throwing some wild punches when Stu lands a beauty to the beak of Campbell. Campbell almost goes down but he keeps his feet and tries to throw one that misses before going to his knees. Bickel tries to throw another but misses and goes down to a knee also. Campbell lands a couple while they are down. Win Bickel.

Rupp vs Thornton was a win for Thornton. Initially both didn't land anything with Thornton just trying to avoid Rupp's punches who had the reach-advantage. Thornton landed a jab and a right to score the win late in the fight.
Win Thornton

Bickel vs Campbell was a draw IMO with nothing landing although Campbell was more on the defense-mode right from the start.
Draw

Edit: after watching it again it was a Win for Bickel, he landed that punch and I missed Campbell bloodied on his way to the bench.
Win Bickel

rupp - thornton, good tilt, both landed a few it was pretty even until thorts landed a beauty that hurt rupp, rupp just isnt the same after shelley hurt him last year

2nd bout was all stu bickel, campbell fights alot out of his weight and paid the price with a right square to the nose and was leaking all over easy win to bickel !!

Rupp vs Thornton - Win Thornton. Shawn busted Rupp's beak pretty good.
Bickel vs Campbell - Win Bickel. Bickel too much for Campbell who has
heart but he shouldn't be fighting Bickel,IMO. Campbell looked bloodied up.

Rupp vs Thornton

Good tilt to start the season off with. Both landed some good shots, but, Thornton seemed to get the best of it, catching Rupp with a nice right.

Win Thornton

Bickell vs Campbell

Bickel landed a good right and gets the win.

Win Bickel

Win Thornton
Win Bickel

There was one bomb landed in each fight. Bickel damn near put Campbell down there. Thornton landed a couple stiff jersey jabs besides his big right. The first one set up the beak shot.
