would you consider Boulton old now guys? i think his prime was in Buffalo to be honest.

and what happened to Carkner... he is capable of better.
gotta disagree I think Boultons as good as he ever was. Pretty smart fighter in the fact he hasn't taken a ton of punches over the years , mostly due to the fact he has been in & out of the line up so much and fought so infrequently. I think he's as strong as he's ever been.

I gotta go with McLaren in the first one.

Solid draw in Orr/Boults. Those were some heavy shots.

McLaren vs Carkner, and then Orr and Boulton off the next faceoff. That was f*cking fun.

Boulton takes that. GREAT fight! But not a FOTY candidate or anything.

I agree and he isn't as open as he used to be. A lot of Orr's punches hit the side of his helmet. What a great tilt.

I agree on Boulton but this was a better FOTY than Orr-Engelland and Gratts-Bordy. A lot of power in 3 or 4 of those punches by Boulton and solid all the way around by Orr.

Carkner seemed like he was running away from mclaren for a bit there. But draw.

Best punches of the second fight were near the end by boulton and looked to land square on the chin, but not enough to get a win. Draw. Great fight and far better than orr engelland imo. Boulton rarely fails to impress me.

Fair call. I guess I should say it's a candidate but just not IT for me. I need the jackhammer going full blast or a back and forth with a finish. Either way, enjoyable great fight.

Mclaren vs carkner draw
Bro what are you smoking? If anything it's a draw but I'll give the edge to Boulton. He got punched down to the ice? I guess that's why you call it a win. You are so off. Kinda like your maple leaf effort.

Would love to see Razor vs. Orr even more now with both in prime let alone Orr vs. Boulton the same age... never gonna happen, that being said some are better fighting at an older / younger age no excuses... great posts and great scraps!

In slo-mo on my PVR (other than the head shots when Boulton was down) Orr and Boulton only landed one clean punch each, Boulton's causing Orr's nose to bleed.

Again in slo-mo on my PVR (The Toronto feed was different than the one posted here) Carkner landed his first right as McLaren was reaching in, and then landed nothing. McLaren hit nothing but helmet and air during the fight.

Agree Rug. Those shots both guys landed and took were Brutal/Vicious... During my 1st view I thought someone was going to eat the ice!
