Damnit, I hate the Rangers but that was awesome. Loved how Fonzie threw out all the toughness when the Devs had the fourth line out.

Edge Bickel, Carter landed a couple bombs too.

The other two were draws.

DRAW
EDGE Carter
Torts pulled him out and moved Bickel in to take the draw. Not his fault.

We were all winners tonight folks.I'm not even calling the fights. That's all water under the bridge.Deboer is my new favorite coach for putting that lineup out there to start the game.Torterella mouthing off about the start.Torts must not realize that he dresses the horses to play that type of game. But the best thing was the crowd knowing what was coming, and eating it up,and roaring for it.People really hate that fighting thing...Now over to the 50 page thread of the Lucic fight...

I'm not complaining about the fights, and I don't blame any of the Devils players here, but their coach looks like a bitch. That being said, I blame Torts too for not dressing Scott. If he dresses Scott, regardless of whether Janssen is in, the Devils would've maybe hesitated a little bit when trying to rough us up.

Anyway, sorry for the rant.

Win Bickel - he ate some but in the end landed a good one that gave him the W. Didn't get a good look at the other two, but draws on first view.
Yeah he totally snuck Janssen in. DEVILS DRESS ALL THEIR PLAYERS FOR WARMUPS. They see who the opposing team has out there (great tactic) and make a lineup based on that. Don't try to claim we're sneaking people in.

In regards to the Bickel Carter fight,

It looked like Carter surprised Bickel and landed two or three solid rights. Then they went down and when they got back up Bickel was pissed and landed an absolute bomb on Carter. Carter then ducked his head, Bickel slammed him to the ice, and tried to keep throwing. Blood everywhere from Carter so Salvador and then Dubinsky came in.

I understand Carter was winning the fight but that last shot put Carter out of commission and seriously busted him up. I see no way this can be argued as anything other than a win for Bickel.

Janssen-Prust
Tough to tell as we didn't see much but looked like Janssen may have got the edge

Boulton-Rupp
Also tough to tell but Rupp landed a real nice left jab off the bat to Boultons eye and seemed to be landing a few more throughout the fight. Looked like an edge to Rupp, although I would like to have seen the entire fight

Awesome, saw this at the bar. I had the bartender trying to find the sixers game and he flipped I guess CSNny. I was like "wait! those guys are gonna fight" and then all hell broke loose. Everyone in the bar looked to see what was going on. Pretty sweet

Scott was in warm-ups too. Visiting team has to make the commitment first, and all I'm saying is a legit MSG reporter said the Devils committed to no Janssen. I can't speak to whether that is true or not. All I know is that a reporter said that is why Torts was so pissed (and I think we can all agree he was pissed). I'll try to track down a link, as this reporter (Dave Maloney) said it on the radio.

Fights were fair and evenly matched. I'm just saying if there was any manipulation of the lineup cards then I have an issue with DeBoer. Otherwise it's all good. Didn't mean to start an argument...

His face and hand are still sore from his fight with Carter. He said he won't be fighting for a while.

If scott was dressed, no one on the devils would of fought him anyway.

Really guy? Just stfu already with this "snuck janssen in late" bull. It's complete nonsense. Torts was pissed at Deboer for putting the 4th line out, not that they "snuck" janssen in somehow. The reporter who said that is a tool and you look like an idiot for bringing it up every 5 posts. Be happy that we were able to see that in a game in the new nhl and not worry about crap that some retard reporter made up.

Don't listen to that guy, obviously anyone who actually follows NHL fights knows that Janssen would not back down from Scott or anyone else.
