Listen to that crowd.

Why the **** would anyone want to take that out of the game?

Jeez I hate the way Janssen fights.

Win McGrattan.

Whoever it is whining about what the refs were waiting for, Janssen appears to be telling them to stay away.

Holy Smokes!!! What a Tilt. Love how they were laughing and telling eachother to come on. hit me again. LOL. Draw/Edge McG. Taking nothing from Cam as he shooed off the linesmen like 5 times.

What more would they have to prove in this fight they let go on and on. Break it up at the 1st obvious sign of tiredness,Mcgrattan has the clear win. Make Janssen hungry to fight again, even the crowd will be like,Janssen was just getting started, lets see what happens next time. In other words, after this long fight, nothing else was gonna happen between these two. Its like the linesman are saying,ya know what, you wanna fight, fight till u cant and arent willing anymore, than we dont have to deal with your asses. I would rather have seen them fight twice, for half as short, each time.
The thinking concerning the "let em go till they punch themselves out" is(or used to be) that it A) lets the two combatants tire out, B) lets the fight play out, C) is a deterrent to other players thinking of acting out, it is a way of telling them that if you get caught up in a scrap you will not be saved by the refs.

That was a hell of a scrap. These two have a mutual respect for one another. They came up around the same time and have a history that dates back to the OHL.

Cam took some heavy duty shots in this one but was able to survive and land a few good ones of his own in the end. Still a decisive Win for McGrattan.

Still amuses me how people still complain about Cam's fighting style. He's fighting a guy 5" taller and 35 lbs. heavier then him. He does what he does to survive. 9 times out of 10 he's going to lose fights against guys like McGrattan but he still good for putting on an entertaining scrap.

Side note: That Boulton-Mills-Janseen 4th line is absolutely fantastic to watch. I pray DeBoer liked what he saw and we all get to see more of this.

McGratton landed more but did little damage. He let Cam come back at the end and both guys agreed to end the fight, which is why I'm calling this fight a solid draw. That's just my opinion. Either way this was a great fight and I'm happy to see Mcgratton back in the NHL. He kinda fell off the face of the earth for a while after he injured his shoulder in that fight against Laraque a couple years ago, I was actually at that game. Hopefully Nashville dresses him regualry and he has a good year.

You know excactly how each fight is going to go with him and they always applaud how his fights last so long. They last so long because he does nothing except stay as far away as possible from the other guy for the first minute of the fight then trys to fight, thats not endurance. I'd be impressed if he was throwing punches for over a minute.

Great scrap there and they fired the crowd up big time. I knew cam would come on later as he is the "rope a dope" of hockey but it was not enough.
