He didn't slip, it was a clear TKO for Staubitz. As mentioned, Kassian was reeling after Staubitz got turned around. Sometimes I wonder what fight Jim Hughson was watching. Sure, Staubitz helmet came off, but he didn't even flinch so I know that didn't hit anything but helmet.

I don't think it was a knockdown either. If it was, then Kassian recovers faster than anybody I've ever seen.

Win Staubitz either way. And win Habs fans. Staubitz has actually made montreal watchable.

Ok you hate Kassian(for some unknown reason)... but it wasn't THAT much of a dominating win. And I thought TKOs ended the fight? Kass jumped right back up ala Rinaldo. It was a KD, buddy. But still, win Staubitz, I'm not disputing that.

I don't hate Kassian, I hate that Canuck fans believe he's the next Lucic or Neely & that players are scared to fight him. I don't hate Kassian, he can play on my team but people have to remember, he's only 21.

Almost a brawl at the end with Price even getting involved. Did Campoli and Burrows fight? I'm only going by Vancouver's radio call, and they clearly did not care what was going on because their team just lost.

Not really, not much happened. Burrows was being harassed by Yannick Weber and Campoli came over and stepped in... Burrows took a couple gloved shots than Campoli dropped the gloves and everyone came in, including Staubitz. Price gave Burrows a shove but that's about it... Nothing close to a fight developed.

What about Rinaldo the night before? I think that is why Boobs used the term KD. I use that term when a punch puts someone down but they aren't hurt or out of it. Seemed like a perfect call to me and I second it. I thought the punch landed and if it didn't that was the worst bail since Brashear retired.

clear win Staubitz. No TKO there, just a kd or slip, a slo-mo would help determine that.

Everytime I see Kassian in a good fight it's going to make me angry the Sabres traded him away.

He's been in 3 NHL fights and all of of them have a higher rating than 6.7. Vancouver will feel his presence.

Good to see Kassian drop the gloves for his new team, but he was on the receiving end of several punches from Staubitz in this one. Win and a good showing for Staubitz.

Id call that a dominating win. Staubitz may have missed with a couple punches but once he started the lawnmower on Kassian the fight was over.
