Still trying to figure out how anyone comes up with a win for Neil???

Prust lands the best punch of the fight, ya see the picture earlier in this thread?

Draw at most. People are too eager to dish out a win when a draw is perfectly fine.

Looked like a draw in the first fight. Pig Face with the win in the second fight.

Prust fights, Prust loses, and his team goes on to do the same things. I wonder how long it will take the Habs and their fans to figure out this contract is worse than the Gomez one. There is a reason the Rangers didn't want him back

You're joking right?

There is no such thing as "worse than the Gomez contract" unless you're talking about the DiPietro contract for the Isles.

Prust is awesome and he earns his money, even if a team overpaid for him, he's worth it!

The option is some visored panzy who doesn't hit or fight.

Couldn't be more wrong. Everyone on the team loves what he brings to the table from the coaches to the players. He hits, kills penalties, he's had 3 fights in 6 games, 2 points (should have had a couple goals last night but got robbed), and plays on a line with the 2 exciting Habs rookies - Galchenyuk and Gallagher, creating room out there for them to do their thing without fear. Galchenyuk has 5 points in 6 games while Gallagher has 4 points in 5 games. He's stuck up for teammates and battles every night. He's worth every cent of his contract.

Exactly! He is welcome on my team any day.

Sure, he's not the most exciting or dominant fighter, but he plays with a ton of heart and contributes more than PIM's to the score sheet. Pruster is a coaches dream.

This has been floating around for awhile, but, I have not heard any one write or speak of what those reason were.

The Habs players have to be ecstatic knowing that a guy like Prust has their back. He brings a lot more to the table than just fighting. I believe he had 13 goals and 29 points for the Rags in the 2010 season. He can play the game.

I don't know a hell of a lot of teams or players who would not welcome him.

Guys, Troll Punisher is a Vancouver fan that has hated Prust from his Calgary days and has trolled Prust fight threads for years now. Truth in his posts are more rare than unicorns. The Rangers wanted Prust back but felt the contract was a bit lofty. I think they underrated what he brings to the table which is a tremendous amount of heart and soul to go along with being a better than advertised hockey player. Not that the Rangers won anything last year but they don't even make it out of the first round without Prust.

It was a great job by you to be on that without really following the Rangers. Punisher is good for a laugh, even if it is at him, and not much more.

I actually liked that move. Prust wasn't gonna go (or else the gloves woulda been dropped long before Neil ever did. Neil was out there and intending to spark the team and get momentum back, especially with Habs fans ole'ing in Ottawa's building. He did what he had to do.

Feel like too many guys are scared of instigators.
