Ryan White vs Zack Smith

Earlier in the shift Colby Armstrong smoked Smith accidentally and shook him up. Later White hits him clean along the boards but Smith is pissed off now and both guys throw the gloves off quickly and grab ahold of each other. Punches start right away as both guys throw hard rights that land. White lands another right than blocks Smith's right hand response. They wrestle for position after this with Smith landing a very weak left jab, than White counters with a wild right that looked to land. They wrestle some more and White lands another good right. More wrestling than Smith tries a right that is mostly blocked. White answers with a right that lands and Smith counter punches and lands a great right. They tie up again and Smith tries one more right that misses and White lands on top of him. White was leaking a bit from the nose. White landed more, Smith landed one good one.

Smith - White

Perfect review as usual Boobs. White was landing better for most of the fight, though Smith landed a couple along the way also. They were throwing with ill intent but managed to turn with most of the punches as they landed to keep any damage to a minimum. Towards the end Smith landed a right about as flush as you could land one and White did a good job staying up. White ducks a Smith right and the momentum sends Smith to the ice. White landed a couple more but Smith landed the punch of the fight to earn a draw. Spirited scrap.

Neil - Prust

Well these guys know what they are doing. Very technical bout and I am tired from watching them jockey for position for a lengthy fight. They really had to work to land one here but both managed to get free for a couple at different times of the fight. Early in the fight there was a nice exchange of simultaneous punches when Neil landed a short left and Prust landed a pretty god uppercut. Back and forth they went and I thought Prust was ahead on points until Neil got his right into good position towards the end to land a few very short shots. Have to go draw here as well.

Crowd into it. Goals and fights. Yesterday was supposed to be the good day but these guys are delivering tonight. Montreal is a fun team to watch now.

Brandon Prust vs Chris Neil:

This one starts off the draw immediately following the Habs having scored on the powerplay. Neil lines up beside Prust and issues the challenge, while Prust is involved with the play. Neil than just fires off his gloves and goes at Prust who isn't set along the boards. Neil throws a couple of shots that Prust manages to avoid before getting his own gloves off and once both guys have the mitts off they each miss with a right, and Prust gets swung into the boards. Neil loads up two big lefts while Prust is mostly turned but doesn't connect with either and Prust responds with a short right that does... Prust loads up a big right and Neil sneaks in a beauty short left that connects although it looked like Prust landed as well. Neil answers with another beauty straight left that lands hard, and Prust grabs on while Neil kind of skates him into the boards. They circle each other looking for an opening and than Prust maneuvers Neil into the boards, than they circle some more with Neil smiling that toothless grin. Than they both try rights that are both locked out and Prust lands two quick rights. Neil loads up a haymaker right that misses, than tries a left that is locked out and a right that Prust also blocks. Neil than tries to get his elbow pad off and Prust lands a solid left, right combo. Neil answers with a right that hits shoulder pad and both guys throw and miss a right for Prust and a left for Neil at the same time. Both guys get in tight again and try jerseying each other, and Prust gets Neil's helmet off... They grapple some more than Neil gets inside Prust's right and lands one maybe two quick rabbit shots. Prust responds with a right to the side of Neil's head and an uppercut that misses. They are gassed at this point and the zebras come in... Draw maybe slight edge Neil. He did kind of get an unfair start.

Neil vs Prust was a real battle. Both guys are pound for pound as good as it gets. Only watched once and looked like a solid draw. Neil s a little bigger and stronger but Prust didn't give him an inch. Neil either got his gloves off quick or Prust missed the invitation.

White vs. Smith= draw

Horsesh1t waste of an instigator for Neil to pick up there. Wasn't even defending a teammate.
