Narrow win Staubitz.

I'm just glad that the Canadiens finally have a guy on the team who has a sack. Hopefully he sticks with them for years to come.

Clear win for Staubitz. McCormick bailed at the end.

All I have to say is this was Cody McCormick's first fight from coming back from his second concussion (both from fighting). You can tell Cody's half Native American and Irish because he's crazy to fight like that after his injuries. I wouldn't be surprised if he's out again. I still think he got more shots in this fight despite what others may think. Hate to be a homer but this fight was at least a draw.

C'mon T... CM called in the linesman, you can't get a draw in that case IMO.

As far as the concussions- he got them in fights? Do you remember which ones? Anyway, I believe I called this before the season. It doesn't take a genius to figure out he can't handle the load. I believe they overpaid him to begin with based on a couple playoff games. He'd be a good guy to ride shotgun to a legit HW, but that's it. As far as him fighting after injuries- he has to. That's his job. They didn't pay him over a million dollars a year for his skill.

I completely understand your opinion here, I guess I just see this one differently. Kind of hard to tell what lands and doesn't..wish there was a second angle. If Cody wasn't worried about a 3rd concussion he wouldn't have stopped the fight.
McCormick had a good season last year 8 goals, 12 assist, 20 pts ,142 pims. If he was healthy he would be more worth it. I'd rather have 3 Cody McCormick's then one ville Lameo for the money...Not to mention the 10mil for Ehrhoff this season. I wouldn't be concerned about wasting money on Cody.
He missed time with a concussion right after the Tanner Glass fight and also after the Shawn Thornton fight. It's hard to believe he got one in the Thornton fight, but once you get one it's easy to get symptoms back again. This year they have been calling all kinds of things concussion's that wouldn't have been in year's past.

Cody McCormick throws hard, he'd be a good fighter if he didn't have those major balance issues. He throws like any other heavy.
