Edge Staubitz. He landed a couple of wild punches. McCormick did well but he wanted no part of it after Staubitz started landing good shots. McCormick finally ends on the ice, as usual. Both guys threw hard shots. I like McCormick for that, he always throws.

Staubitz has a couple of good fights since he's a Hab. A good 6.1 (Labrie), a great 7.6 (Brown), a 6.5 (Kassian) and I give this one a 7...

Both guys throwing to hurt.... I liked that one. Not picking a winner.

Edit: McCormick was holding on at the end edge staubitz.

Looked like McCormick called in the linesmen before Staubitz threw that last shot.

Draw. Good fight. Surprised to see McCormick iniating fights after having so much concussion issues this year. Granted, thats his job.

Nice little, spirited scrap there. I'd call it a draw.

It's good to see Staubitz keeping up the activity.

Why was McCormick calling in the linesmen after he initiated the fight? Both guys landed a couple, but Staubitz landed that left that made McCormick quit and that last one as well. Win Staubitz off that BS linesmen call in alone.

McCormick called for help and Staubitz landed another one before the linesmen got in there.

Win Staubitz based on that.

Linesman said something and McCormic responded. Did he call the linesman in? Seriously? He wasnt bleeding, went to the box on his own..

I dunno. They were kinda tied up at the time. Could he have said ' no, let us continue ' like CamJ does all the time?

Well it's possible, but the chances are that he called the refs to step in since he just recieved a very hard left by Stauby.

I think that claiming Staubitz off waivers was Canadiens' best move this season. He's playing well, and the players seem happy to carry him. He skates very well so he's doing a very good job on the forecheck, creates opportunity and space for his linemates.
