And of course these sites opinion of him hold more weight, than the guy's who have/had to fight him. Gotcha.

So what? We are talking about this ONE fight and that's it.

He didn't go for the take down.

Wow you actually think that all these internet sites including this one hold more weight than the fighters that have had to fight him?

Just goes to show how delusional some of you are sitting behind your keyboards calling a fight.

Bet most of you haven't even been in a hockeyfight or even played in a competitive game in your lives.

Whatever though... it just makes it easier for us to pick out who to take seriously and who not to when it comes to reading threads.

Typical Habs fan
When you get off your pedastal, you may realize you are just sitting at a keyboard as well...way too much I might add.

Ya but when I'm on this site I actually know my hockey and talk with alot of knowledgeable people on here about the game. It's a few of the members (yourself included) that know next to nothing about it and come on here like some big shot spouting off total gibberish about a game you probably never even played.

So keep on posting your bull sh!t... your just proving more and more how little you know and how novice you actually are.

I'm done debating and beating this dead horse.

Draw. Pretty disappointing as Boulton's a smaller guy, BGL is usually able to manhandle this type.

Forget it. Some idiots think that playing hockey improves your observation skills. You know, you can't see what is right in front of you because you never played in a competitive league. Playing hockey gives you 10/10 vision and you can see things others can't. Add in the fact that living in Montreal makes you right about everything and you are really in trouble. These guys could call a fight before it even happens and they see things you don't. The clique of pompous pricks are always right and they suck eachother off as much as they slurp Laraque. They only take people serious if they agree with them. No other opinion could possibly be correct, no matter how much video evidence there is.

Laraque has lost to Erskine, drawed with Orr(takedown at 20 seconds), drawed with Boulton, and beat Cote, but he is still the champ even though he has not beaten a top heavy in two years. The reality is that there is NO champ right now, but the slurpers will always feel the need to crown someone, no matter how pathetic his card is. Laraque is still one of the best and very tough to beat because he is so strong and a great wrestler, but he is in no way the current champ. Just leave the slurping clique to converse on their high horses.

i think laraque has developed himself as the heavyweight to beat early in his carreer, but as it is today, he has developed the reputation as being a strong wrestler. i believe a fighter creates his own leagacy and he can kill that leagacy. the general concensus on him lately has been, a boring, quick takedown. not sure about you guys but that isn't my idea of a true champ, an enforcer. he isn't what he used to be, and its time to pass the torch. i do not even feel like he deserves to be mentioned in a top 10 in the league right now. too many fighters out there that are more exciting and skilled at fisticuffs than this wrestler on skates.

Georges Laraque vs Eric Boulton

Draw.

I like BGL and although his fights have been pretty poor for the majority, you can see how much his opponents respect him. Boulton looked like he was regretting dropping the gloves as soon as they got in tight and pretty much hung on the whole time.

I am not expecting Boulton to go toe to toe with someone who is bigger and stronger as that would be retarded, so he tries some sort of in close tactic and just ends up hangin on. I just think BGL could try and force their hand a bit more rather than get frustrated and settle for a takedown. Unfortunately I just don't think he has the anger or desire to really want to hurt a guy and thats why sometimes he just toys with guys rather than trying to inflict real pain.
