KD win for Nolan.
Nothing beats seeing the old warriors give a beating to the young kids. Fights like this one, Roberts/Eager, Nolan/Voros, and others show the last of the old school light you up, and beat you down type players.

Knockdown win for Owen Nolan. Great to see Coburn answer the bell for a cross check. Nolan is the wrong guy to do that to.

Friggin' embarrassing. Don't get me wrong, Nolan's as tough as they come, but Coburn is 6'5" 225 (and wearing a visor mind you), and the second Nolan gets his left (off-hand) going, Coburn starts cowering, only to get caught with a left and sent to the ice.

Dan Carcillo was trying to get that pussay, Cal Clutterbuck, to fight in the beginning of the 2nd period. Cal wouldn't throw down even though Carcillo had his gloves half off! I guess the linesman got tired of it all and called Clutterbuck for a minor and Carcillo for unsportsmanlike conduct. It wasn't until Cal was safely nestled in the PB until he actually started mouthing off to Carcillo. What a dripping wet vagina.

It would have been nice to see Dan ram his fist down that douche's throat.

Good stuff! Its always nice to see a Flyer hit the ice. I didn't think Nolan still had it in him.

why? he fought orr last year. nolan is one guy, regardless of age, who will always be tough. coburn seems to be fighting tougher opponents w/ each fight. good to see, hopefully this continues

Boogaard who?

Nolan handlend himself quite well and thoroughly embarassed the youngster - soundly putting him on his ass with a couple of stiff lefts, knocking that silly visor off in the process. Great to see that the old man still has it in him.

That fight with Orr was nothing to brag about. He looked a lot better against Coburn. Go figure!

First, its close fight but at the end Nolan took over with his accurate punches and he TKO'd Coburn.

2 good straight lefts put Coburn down. Good to see Noalie still mixing it up.

I don't see it as being all that close, even at the beginning.

Nolan seemed to dominate in strength, Coburn only tossing a couple and none were impressive.

Then Nolan got the lefts and buckled Coburn.
