i think nolan just proved ( despite a whole career of proving it ) that he isnt a chinadoll that needs protection from an enforcer. maybe orr thinks twice about taking out gabby because then it gives the whole wild team an ugly attitude.

this game is taking on a nasty tone.

Hey don't get me wrong I love how Orr plays and fights. He wouldn't have been able to run Nolan if Boogaard was playing because they would have been on the ice together for the match ups and both would have been in the penalty box for 5:00....

Agreed, he's taking advantage of the fact that Boogaard isn't in as any heavy would. It's a shame Boogaard isn't in

Rondo, after the TKO Orr had a very cheap hit on Crosby's bad knee IN THE SAME PERIOD.

Great game. Good job by all four conmbatents. On the quick end of things I will say draw and win Orr. Clutterbuck may have landed enough for an edge and Nolan did well but was done after Orr landed a short right after a big right by Nolan.

Which is dumb by Lemaire. You've got your best player historically, Marian Gaborik, coming back from injury. You don't think Orr/Duby will go after them and ruin your chances of a playoff spot as they try to keep theirs? Lemaire is dumb for scratching Boogey.

Ya, he's an idiot. I mean atleast dress Scott, why all of a sudden scratch him against the Rangers?

That wasn't nearly as big as the hit Orr threw on. Again it was the antagonizing get under his skin type of hit. He has beat Godard but that has changed as you are only as good as your last fight the tide is shifting in that series.

Orr has to be the top ranked heavyweight in the league now. I mean, who else in the league would have the balls to force Owen Nolan into a fight?

just posted elsewhere, games like Rags vs. Isles/Flyers/Debs you expect to be hot, and nothing happens. Then games like this just come up out of nowhere. good stuff.

Look you know as well as me Orr was still a little foggy from the TKO...... Look I am way out numbered here as the Orr pack is almost out in full. I knew that I would ruffle some feathers by stating " he thinks twice if Boogaard is dressed" but the irony is it is highly unlikely that hit happens because Orr and Boogaard would probably had there fight by then and they would have been in the box. So yeah I was looking for some trouble because I am pissed this fight diddn't happen tonite..... Wonna Go........
