Eric Nystrom vs Tom Kostopoulos

Nystrom and Kostopoulos drop the gloves along the end boards and square off. They grab ahold of each other and Kostopoulos throws a pair of rights. Nystrom returns fire with some rights of his own and the two go back and forth with right hands that miss for the most part. Kostopoulos throws a right that misses and the two lose their balance and go to their knees for a moment before standing back up. They exchange right hands once again. Nystrom then throws a right that may have landed and sent Kostopoulos to the ice. The linesmen intervene immediately afterward.

Looking like a TKO/KD win for Nystrom if the last punch landed. If not, draw.

Eric Nystrom vs Tom Kostopoulos

Off a faceoff, they drop the gloves. TK lands three early rights, knocking the helmet off of Nystrom. They each start swinging wildly, nothing landing. They fall to the ice and get back up...TK starts to hug, but Nystrom gets free, lands a couple rights and send TK to the ice. Kostopolous early, Nystrom late.

Draw

Edit...I'd probably add the edge to Nystrom.

Good recap although it appeared Nystrom weathered the storm and TK wanted to hold on a bit at the end but Nystrom got his right free and landed 1 for sure on helmet.I think it did knock TK down but it was not a punch that dropped him jsut caused him to lose balance ...

DRAW all the way.
Kosto landed best punches, and even more.
Nystrom cameback but didnt TKO'd Kosto, not even knockdown as its more a slip to me(their legs took a contact bit, maybe Nystrom tryed to a bit slewfoot watch his leg/sjkate when...).

Just started watching the game hoping for more fights. And maybe a shootout. Koivu is a beast with hands.

What a goal by Carolina.

The hustle by Skinner. Great pass and finish by Ruttu! What a snipe.

In overtime Ruutu threw some gloved punches on a Wild player(Burns?) while both where on the ice.

If they were to fight, Brent Burns would win no doubt.
