No, it looked like he realized he was in way over his head after Nolan started throwing and bailed. I give him credit though for sticking up a young teammate.

This may be a dumb question but is Jordan related to Owen Nolan at all?

You are joking right?

Jordan's dad is Ted Nolan.

Man, I just love watching that Jordan Nolan. He's sure making his mark in this league. Chris Stewart challenged him later, but he declined. To bad, I think he could've given Stewart a run for his money.

Of course he declined, Stewart can fight. Nolan needs to fight somebody of substance....

He's already fought Stewart, and was doing just fine until his jersey came over his head and Stewart decided to keep throwing. He also fought Eager, well got jumped by Eager. He also fought Bobby Robbins in the AHL this year. If you ask a Bruins fan Robbins is the second coming of christ.

Lol! My bad. This question has been asked so much. Dad is Ted Nolan. He used to coach in the NHL yes. Walking down the hallway at work and read the post too fast.

Gave me a laugh right now...

Win Nolan, Redden pulled the chute. Thought he saw a gold doubloon on the ice. Thanks Pesa!

The Blues ought to be ashamed of their pathetic performance tonight. This was the final game of a 4 game home stand that they got 1 out of a possible eight points on and early in the game a 900 year old Wade Redden tried to stick up for a rookie and got drilled by Nolan.

What is the response from the Blues at that point. Nothing? I don't care that Stewart tried to challenge Nolan later on when it was 4-1. At that point I don't blame Jordan Nolan for turning him down. The response needed to happen much earlier.

The only guy who tried to stand up at all was Sobotka, he at least tried to fight the guy who hit him. The smallest forward on the team has more grit to his game than our so called tough guy right now.

Speaking of Ryan Reaves, I liked his game up until this year but he has to pick it up a ton. He has only had 2 scraps this year and be turned Tootoo down early in the last Blues Wings game, if he isn't going to go in that situation they need to get someone who will.

This team has problems in all areas right now and it goes a lot deeper than shotty goaltending they have to up their compete level a ton or they are going nowhere fast.

Sorry for the long rant guys just sour at these bastards right now
