Paul Bissonnette vs Raitis Ivanans

Bissonnette burries Richardson along the Coyotes boards, and in comes Ivanans with the challenge. Bissonnette obliges and they drop the gloves. Both have a short square off and Bissonnette connects with a firm right. They both grab on, not much being thrown. Bissonnette's helment strap was around his face, so he holds Ivanans off, takes it off and throws a wild left, loses his balance and Ivanans ends up ontop.

DRAW

I dont know if I would call that a win for biz. He did land one punch. But that was a sh!TTY fight. I am calling that a crap draw, maybe edge biz.

on the replay id say there was an early jab by ivanans that hit, and one by biz. then i think a late punch by biz landed too. edge biz in a lackluster fight.

was odd seeing ivanans decide against throwing em at biz when his helmet was crooked and he only had the back of the head to swing at. dunno if thats a classy move? lol.

Im beginning to think Ivanans is a bit overratd. He just does not win many fights. He's strong as an ox, has a good chin, which will keep you in most fights but just can't seem to mount any offense in his fights and put anyone away...........Not ready to give up on him but he should beat Bissontette imo...

Your kinda right Rondo..... He seems to only be able to fight well when he's extremely pissed off. A strong fuker but seems almost disinterested after they initially engage.

I agree guys. He seems to fight like he does not want to lose, more than fighting to win, just does not appear to have a mean streak. Westgarth is big, hungry and quite frankly I am surprised he did not make tje team this year but would not be surprised to see him in the NHL at some point.

I don't don't think Lassard wants any of Westgarth. Westy one punched him down before.

I think your fine with Biz! I like Biz he plays with Passion and will drop the gloves against anyone!

Yeah, Ivanans is weird. When he is pissed he can kill someone. Most times he lacks the passion, unless it's Parros or Shelly.

This is the last year of his contract and Westy has signed a 3 year, so it's only a matter of time before it's the Clune and Westgarth show in LA!
