No gameday thread so I apologize but holy **** what a crazy finish to a game. I really wish I wasn't a Kings fan so I could've enjoyed that in some way.

Wrong call, right result on no goal.
Karma-ish on actual goal.
Then yeah. OT.

Those kids know how to have fun in Edmonton.

Nolan fighting with that visor on, and I hate guys that do that regularly. Especially tough North American players.

Poor Smid does the right thing and gets an instigator penalty for not dropping his gloves first. Oilers obviously need more toughness in the lineup or it's going to be a tough year for their superstars.

I'd have to disagree, Smid has shown he can handle himself against some tough guys. Other than losing to Mike Brown - which is nothing to be ashamed of, nobody has really dominanted him... Unless you count Avery jumping him.

nice to see smid sticking up for his teammates.. nolan looked like he was more willing to fight and smid got the instigator...

Smid reacted but should have squared off with Nolan and they both could ditch the lids, dumb move on Smid's part.

Win Nolan.

Edmonton needs to have some better and smarter toughness in their lineup.

One of my biggest issues in all of sports... not just hockey... Dude's fighting w/ visors who don't shed the lid. I HATE THAT SH*T!
