Vandy has been injured most of the season, and only played a handful of games this year

Mark my words...

Stortini will not be in Edmonton by the time the season opens next year...

Renney doesn't like him - that's common knowledge.

Performances like last night make his shelf life limited... It was embarassing for himself, the team, and management... I've read multiple Oilers sources and fan collections calling for his head, because it's just getting stupid. It's one thing to see a guy willing and able, and go toe to toe with a better fighter and lose. That's fine. That Barch fight was just bullsh!t.

They'll try to move him at the deadline - if not, he'll be gone this summer.

Everything I'm hearing out of Edmonton is that if there is one roster spot available, it's for JF Jacques.

Quite frankly, I think Jacques might actually be a better fighter than Stortini... We all know Jaques is a better player (has a four goal game under his belt in the AHL), but I actually believe he is a better fighter. He is certainly a better hitter.

Stortini doesn't even agitate as well this year - he's rendered himself almost useless.

Maybe there is hope in Edmonton? Finally, a guy in charge who doesn't believe Lennart Petrell is a legitimate roster player.

I'll never understand all the hate Stortini gets. He constantly gets his ass kicked but he still goes out and fights around 20 times a year. Sure he is a terrible fighter, but at least he is willing to man up and fight heavyweights from time to time. That alone makes him less of a pussy than 90% of the players in the NHL.
I'm with ya bro..Guys like Cambell-Kosto-Brown all get **** on this site but they are all willing and drop em...It's just strange with Storts tho..He sure has the look..Doubt too many guys would make the mistake of bumping into him at a bar..

See, Souray would have pumped Barch and made him his bitch.

I'm a fan of Sheldon.

Stortini has got to be the worst fighter since Tony Horacek, seriously he's that bad.

After reviewing some of Horaceks old fights, they're almost mirror images of eachother, its ridiculous.

Your words have been marked. Well said and spot on

I think Stortini could be traded at some point
