Shame on Stortini for even considering himself a tough guy.......shame on Vandermeer for exiting any form of strong play for so long.

Nice to see Vandy fight, its been awhile since his last one. In his defense, he would fight about 6-7 times per season anyways, its not like he was a heavyweight that would go looking for fights alot. Barch made Stosuckballsi his bitch, too bad Mac wasn't in the game. Sucks that Ott and Sutherby couldn't find any takers. Good game for the Stars and the fans, they looked really into it last night!

Man, Stortini looked flat out bad in that fight. It's like he forgot all the basics, including how to throw a punch with some heat behind it. Barch should never be able to embarass someone like that.

Vandermeer looked decent, wish he would do it more.

I think Fraser has a worse win percentage than Kostopoulos. He truly is a horrible fighter, but I guess it's good that he at least tries.

I like the way Peckham plays, but he should have done more in his fight. He's certainly capable.

Neal was hiding in the bench behind his visor... once Peckham was ready to throw Neal stayed bent facing the other way into the bench and would not square up...

After Peckham punched his glued on helmet four times from behind he gave up... What are you supposed to do?

****

I changed my signature after this game. I hate Oilers management with every ounce of my being.

Well, he's 1-7-2 in his last two years' fights... His only win against Coliaccovo...And to make it worse, his card is actually really weak.

Personally - I don't think it makes you "tough" to try and fail 9 times out of 10. It makes you dumb.

I personally like it when he drops the mits - I literally EXPECT him to lose KD style every single time...

Didn't Barch get the 10 min for being involved in his second fight?? Also, Neal wasnt booted, he got 2 for unsportsmanlike, 2 for instigating, 5 for fighting and a 10 min misconduct. He was back on the ice in the last few mins of the game. I dont know if any of you Neal bashers have ever been in the situation where someone has you bent over the boards throwing punches at you, but its not the easiest to get out of.

Khabibulin took 2 penalties in this game, both for being a worthless raging alcoholic. Eleven straight losses. Kari Lehtonen said after the game "A few times, I thought I was going to have to fight him." Kari is a monster, would have loved to see that!

What a shiitty time to get called into work, I was supposed to be at this game!

Don't worry, Neal was never in any danger. His visor kept him safe.

I always get a kick out of guys getting an instigator with their visored helmet glued on... 4 hard shots from Peckham and that thing was still in perfect place.

Looks like a good spirited game. Stortini sucking doesn't matter to me, if he is game, I am entertained and really, what else matters. But, Vandermeer needs to do it more often, I hate when guys stop getting fights when that is what got them there.
