Edmonton at Dallas 1/26/11
Vote: Jim Vandermeer vs Krys Barch Jan 26, 2011
Jim Vandermeer vs Krys Barch Starts off the faceoff after both teams pick up the physical game. They toss the mits and grab ahold. Looks like Vandermeer lands an early shot and Barch lands a light upper cut. They each tie up and Vandermeer throws rights landing while Barch is throwing lefts grazing. Barch lands a good solid left then Vandermeer lands a nice right. They graple some more and Barch falls to the ice screaming at the linesmen to not break up the fight, but they do and it's over. Win Vandermeer Vote: Colin Fraser vs Matt Niskanen Jan 26, 2011
Matt Niskanen vs Colin Fraser Happens about a minute later off the face off and they move in. Niskanen throws as does Fraser both miss. They graple in tight and Niskanen lands a nice right cross that looked like it stung Fraser. He tries to turn away and Niskanen feeds him 3-4 rights to the ear and back of head as they fall to the ice. Surprising win Niskanen Vote: Zack Stortini vs Krys Barch Jan 26, 2011
Krys Barchvs Zack Stortini Stortini lands a big hit along the boards and Barch skates over to him. Barch is trying to engage Stortini and he won't go. He glove punches him and Stortini draws a penalty. As the whistle is blown Barch finally gets Stortini to drop them. Stortini grabs on and hugs, at one point he just tries to drag Barch down. Finally Barch starts to throw and lands a left uppercut that lands. Stortini puts up his right in full guard mode. Barch lands upper cut after uppercut past Stortini's guard. Stortini throws what looks like a punch and misses and Barch lands a right upper cut. Stortini is just hanging on in for life and Barch screams at him to fight. Stortini tries to throw and misses and Barch lands again while screaming at him to fight. Finally after Stortini grabs on the linesmen move in. Win Barch Vote: Theo Peckham vs James Neal Jan 26, 2011
Theo Peckham vs James Neal The camera pans and Neal is throwing them at Peckham along the benches. He gets in tight and twists around and Peckham gets the upperhand and starts throwing to the back of Neal's head. No damage by either and the linesmen jump in to break up. Neal got the boot for instigating with a visor.

Wouldn't expect Matt Niskanen to beat a semi-regular fighting in Fraser after taking losses to Sidney Crosby and Cory Stillman.

In Stortini's defense...he was completely gassed. He was at the end of his shift and it was his first shift since the 4th line took back to back icings. It was embarrassing but I'll go easy on him. He probably shouldn't have accepted the fight right then and there.

How any Oiler fan can like Storini over Mac is beyond me. He may be a better player but in the end they're both there for one thing and MacIntyre far better. You never see guys taunting him...
