Zack Stortini vs. Jared Boll

As play continues into the Edmonton zone, the whistle blows and the camera races to center ice, where Stortini and Boll have dropped the mitts and sticks and are squaring off.

Stortini gets 3 rabbit punches in to start the fight, and then both fighters just start throwing, mostly rights.

Nothing significant appeared to land at first, but eventually both landed a few during the course of the fight.

Stortini pulled Boll's jersey up over his head and got some good shots in there.

On first view, I'll call it a draw, since I didn't really see a clear edge.

Zach Stortini vs. Jared Boll

Boll is on the ice and Stortini is just hopping over the boards, they engage and drop them at center ice, Boll pops Stortini with a solid left jab then they get in a bit of a bear hug and try to exchange overhand rights that don't do much damage, Stortini continues to throw and opens up for a second and Boll cracks him with a real solid punch to the face and it effected the rest of the fight. Stortini kept his head much further back and was much more cautious picking his spots when throwing punches. They continue to throw wild punches until Boll gets Stortini's jersey up over his head and holds it tight. He doesn't really take advantage of it except for a few hard body shots and Stortini returns the favor with a few body shots. Boll tightens his grip on Stortini's jerseyed head and the linesmen move in.

I'll give a narrow win to Boll because of the bomb he landed.

Good review. I'd also give a slight edge to Boll...but I could see people giving it a draw.

After a couple times through i'd say narrow win Boll.

I want to see Peckham go at it with him though....

I was at the game, Boll got him pretty good - good call by Skacore, the big punch landed hard, Stortini ducked from there on.

Edge Boll. Stortini has been somewhat resisting the urge to be overly affectionate in his past few scraps.

You know, ever since he started getting ripped so
hard on this site for being such a wanker/p*ssy,
his fight count HAS shot up.

I mean seriously... there's something wrong with him
being number 4 on the fight list.

YouTube - Stortini Fight Mar 7

Funny I don't see a real hard punch to the face that changed the whole fight, like ska eluded to.

I'm going draw, no harm done here...Stortini using a longer reach to keep Boll at bay where he was not decisive enough for the win. Decent scrap.

That's kind of ironic that the only one that doesn't see a solid punch is an Oilers fan...hmmm...

Eighteen seconds in, big guy. Eighteen seconds in.

I love Boll but I don't think that punch 18 seconds in, wasn't really a hard punch and it didn't seem to even phase him.
