Read between the lines here folks in the suddent lightbulb epiphany for the Wings 'power' forwards to drop the gloves. The trade deadline is looming and they are on one of the Stanley Cup favorites, last thing anyone wants to happen on the Wings is to get traded to a rebuilding team for a 'power forward'.

Not really, Babcock told them a few weeks back that they need to start being more physical and do a little pushing back with the playoffs approaching. Even Franzen, who usually laughs at anyone who sticks a smelly glove in his face, is responding. Last night him and Bieksa traded a few light gloved jabs which greatly surprised me.
