I see the winner as Mike Brown, he threw/landed more punches, and only fell over balance issues.

I'm so disappointed that the Wings fans have posted! Macs scores the 1st fight win of the year, and up 2-1! I can't get the game off nhl.com so I'm watching the shot chart on espn. anyone know how to get the game live for free?

Draw, maybe a slight edge to Brown.
Webby, even if it was a draw, Mac didnt win.

I'm having troubles calling this anything else but a draw.
Man, Brown fires punches fast and furious, but most of those are short rapid fire rabbit-punches, and I can't see how any of those do a lot of damage - especially in this scrap with McCarty. Those were either landing short or too softly. Its nice to see him so energetic and willing, though, but he makes me really miss Rick Rypien, who swings for the fences and isn't afraid to get hit back either. IMO, the few shots McCarty landed balance out all of Brown' activity. I'm going for the draw here.

It's hard to call that anything other than a draw, since no clear shots were landed on either side.
At the very least, McCarty wasn't embarassed. I can just imagine the blowout that could have occurred if it had been Lilja or Kopecky or someone in that position tonight, despite their obvious clear size advantage. It's amazing how the Wings weakest players are actually their biggest as well (except in Hudler or Lebda's case). Oh well. At least the Wings are no longer last in FM's anymore!

They have a go at center ice... both come out firing but Brown's short punches are too fast for old Mac, Mac eats a couple softies then takes advantage of a Brown slip and lands a couple soft lefts himself as Brown is on a knee.. Brown gets up and tries to get his right going again but Mac just leans on him and he falls and Mac lays on him... haha
gotta go with a draw, nothing of significance landing from either really.. but gotta love that they both ATTEMPT to go toe-to-toe |
