(Dorsett was chirping at JVR on previous shift) Camera gets there as they are squared up. They move close to the Jackets bench and are both throwing a bit. Simmonds throws a few rights. Simmonds gets his right free and lands some nice rights. Dorsett is a bit bloodied, and both head to the locker rooms.

Dorsett starts yapping at JVR and gives him a slash to the legs. Next time Dorsett is on the ice Simmonds goes right after him. Nice to see Simmonds stand up for JVR

Bass and Rinaldo threw some nice shots both landing a few. Looked like Rinaldo was in trouble when Bass got his jersey up and Zacks right hand was stuck for a second but Rinaldo was able to get his arm free and start fireing shots back before losing his balance and falling.

glad that happened. after dorsett got into jvr's face jones was going on about how the flyers shouldnt fight. f that. especially simmonds, who hasnt been playing great. sometimes a good fight can get you outta the funk, and that was a good fight.

good for bass to try to spark his team. he looked much bigger than rinaldo, but it wasn't terrible. draw, maybe edge bass if anything good landed.

i wanna see voraceck fight umberger.

Well I was out where only the football game was on so I missed the fights. But I saw (but no replay) Rinaldo took a little run at someone with 8 seconds left in the period in a 8-0 game. He got a charging and Columbus players looked pissed.

Gotta love this kid, it may lead to something in the 3rd.
