Awesome game to be at!

McLeod vs Reaves - Edge Reaves

Koci vs Janssen - Edge Janssen (nice job against the much bigger guy)

Wilson vs Oshie - Win Wilson (nice to see Oshie drop 'em though)

Crombeen and Porter got broken up quickly, but Crombeen threw some punches. Jackman was hitting Stoa with some punches as well.

Why did Koci and Janssen get a gamer??!!?? That appeared to me to be simultaneous fights... Matter of fact, it appeared that Koci and Janssen appeared to get the gloves off first... Did I miss something...

Great to see two teams with nothing to play for show alot of emotion and go at it pretty good. I liked it in the first fights that you could see both the Reaves-McLeod and Janssen-Koci fights at the same time without the cameras having to switch back and forth.

heres to the saint louis blues, winner of the most fighting majors 2010-11 competition. a lot could be said from the on ice product but for the fighting part the blues did deliver. great effort stl blues, enjoy your beers and golf in the offseason and push for 100 fights next season

If this was a Flyers/Bruins game, this thread would be about 40 pages by now. Instead, it is still on the first.

Pretty good scraps all the way around. I'll say Edge Janssen, Draw, Win Wilson, and Draw in the almost line brawl.

It would be due of idiocy and blabbering homerism, it bugs me. Oh well, that's what happens when you blindly love the fighter on the team you cheer for. Anyways...

Reaves, Janssen, Wilson, Draw

It also could be attributed to having the most passionate fan-bases, just a thought. I don't see why it bothers you either, if anything I think that is one of the great features of sports. Not to sound arrogant but could Midwest and West Coast teams be jealous that they have no real rivals?

I disagree, look at most of those old threads between, say any well known East fighter/team in general. Countless threads get ruined by homers bitching and getting way to technical, and at the same time, a KO/line brawl can happen on the west or less popular team, yet no one cares. Im not saying its bad to get in depth, but most of the time getting way into depth for certain teams leads to douchbaggery and pointless arguing. Also, the whole we have "loyal fans, etc" has never phased me in any sport. It bugs me that good fights anywhere around the league gets covered up by homerism of certain fans. In fact in sports in general, some teams even if the do something grand, well always get shot down cause it's not popular.

Well this is a discussion board right? Sure the homerism and bickering can get nauseating at times but honestly I wouldn't trade that in it makes the match-ups more intriguing IMO. The arguing and bragging is part of being a fan, at the end of the day yes we all want and like the fights. But if everybody was objective that would make things much more boring, that's the good thing about an online forum you don't have to be so PC with everything you say. Just different cultures I suppose, the media is very prevalent in the East doesn't really seems that way out West.
