Did any of the punches actually land? I didn't see much, so I'm giving it a draw.

Draw, maybe a narrow edge to Konopka.

Could the Avalanch announcer be any more of a homer. He keeps talking about the punches from stewart and no mention of the punches by konopka. He says Stewart lands a big punch, then Konopka throws about 5 unanswered rights landing 2 or 3 and you can hear crickets.

Howie's call was pathetic. He drive's me crazy sometimes. He goes off everytime he thinks there is a fight for no reason. First off, it wasn't for no reason and second, the crowd got in to the game right away. Regardless of what Howie thinks, the crowd loves it. God forbid the fans at the Colliseum get some entertainment. And Howie always talks about the "old days" of hockey when it was so much tougher and better. Like the Broadstreet Bullies weren't a "side show" and this was? Don't be a hypocrite.

I also can't stand how announcers can go off how ever they want about how stupid or how meaningless a fight in a game is, yet they continue to sugar coat and hold back their feelings on some of these atrocious penalty calls. There are far worse things spoiling the game than a random fight. Get pasionate about a terrible call that changes the flow and outcome of game. I mean, it happens every game.

Draw. I like Stewart, he is a rare breed of physical toughness with offensive ability.

Solid draw in a spirited scrap. Chris Stewart can handle himself even against the best of middleweights.

Pretty solid tilt to start off the game right off the opening face off. I thought both Konopka and Stewart had their moments in this scrap, getting in a few shots each. Looked like a solid draw to me.

Yes he could, I see room for improvement actually. I want my announcers to be big ass homers, I freaken love it.

ANOTHER RIGHT BY STEWART, AND ANOTHER RIGHT!

Actually I just watched the Colorado feed over again and man he was way calmer then normal, I did not think there was any homerism there at all, and he did mention Kanopka punches. Anyways he does spit all over the microphone sometimes yelling during fights and I love it.

Total DRAW
