Thats almost a KD win for Ruutu, unless you think they were already going down before the last punch Ruutu threw.

The younger version of Ruutu's ain't really that dirty of a player, he usually hits his opponent clean and with his hands down, there are some devastating hits of his to see on youtube for example, but yeah I must admit the hit on Tucker was a dirty one so I'm glad the guy dropped the gloves when challenged by Tucker.

The fight itself was a very spirited draw with both guys landing maybe one.
And I read the injury of Ruutu is nothing serious, so my only concerns about him missing the olympics are gone!

Ruutu's injury was to his shoulder. They went off the faceoff. I saw Tucker talk to Ruutu and Ruutu replied and nothing was said for about 15 seconds while they waited for the puck to drop. They squared off and Ruutu left his visor on. Considering the hit on Tucker, the least he could do is take it like a man and remove it.

Although it's a shame Ruutu's cheapshot didn't put Tucker out for the season, he did the right thing backing up that play in this game when Darcy came calling. The fight looked pretty even to me.

Kostopoulos and Wilson fought to a draw, Kosto did a good job managing to not lose this fight. And Stewart got the jersey up on Gleason early in their scrap, but never really capitalized on the situation while Gleason was throwing wildly in the dark. Another draw in that scrap.

the only fight worth mentioning- Ruuttu got the edge over Tucker, good to see them handle their business like men.

Or unless you think Tucker simply ducked that punch, was still up, and only went to the ice after being tackled. I can't even believe Ruutu is getting an edge , let alone talk of a KD. Draw. Don't think Ruutu landed a punch while Tucker may have landed one nice right.

Stewart could have destroyed Gleason. Props to Stewie for showing some class. Win Stewart.

Good to see Tucker got some revenge on Ruutu, and early into the game at that. And kudos to Ruutu for manning up to the challenge and facing some justice. I thought it was more of a draw, good thing for either player some of those final shots didn't land.

Win for Wilson, and Gleason didn't have a chance once his jersey got yanked over his head. I'd rather not call a winner in that one, but if you had to, it would go to Stewart.
