there was no power play goal scored during the 1 minute of power play time the hawks had for desjardins "penalty". the sharks didn't lose the game because of that call either. only a blatant homer would say such a thing.

now if you wanna say st. louis got screwed 8 ways to sunday for the backes "penalty" then that's fine, because the wings did score on the power play from the miscall that cost them the game.

I looked back, and yes they were not on a PP(yet) the goal was scored on a 4 on 4(which should've never happened),, It happened 29 sec before the PP.. The SHARKS should've been on a 4 min PP(2 for visor, and 2 for instigating) at the time Kane scored the game winner. And it did cost the sharks the game. It changed everything, it changed the line combos and BTW the 3rd-4th lines were playing great for the sharks til this happened, it took away the home ice momentum after a big hit not to mention him winning the fight,, and then there is the fact the sharks lost a key 4th liner for half the game,, meaning the sharks forwards were skating more shifts and after playing the night before IN LA playing the DUCKS that's not easy, The Hawks should've been down a D-man. So go ahead and name call all you want computer tough guy. There is no way you can say it DIDN'T cost them the game.

if the hit didn't happen, there's no telling as to how the game would have gone. so to say that it did cost them the game when during that time when the goal was scored, the hawks didn't have a power play like the wings did. no hit, no fights = no man advantage, which also means your argument is invalid about how the sharks should have had a 4 minute power play.

secondly, the hawks were without one of their top defenseman for close to 20 minutes of on ice time and the sharks did nothing with it. so it didn't cost them the game in any way. the sharks could have easily stepped up and scored while keith was gone and didn't. if you really think that missing a grinder guy changed the complexion that much, you're a little nutty.
