. Your a solid poster but act like you've played middle linebacker in the NFL and sparred with mike tyson. Are you an Internet tough guy or have you dropped the gloves in front of 10-20 thousand people? Just wondering where all your bravado comes from? You seem to always seek the most violent ending, why?
Torres charged at a star player, left his feet and targeted Hossa's head. Torres is a repeat offender hence the suspension while Erskine is not and is way tougher and badder than Torres could dream of. Torres wouldn't have even dared throw that hit 20 years ago..
My only valid complaint is Torres wasn't left lying on the ice unconscious like Hossa was!!!
I'm an internet tough guy who acts like he played linebacker and sparred with Mike Tyson because I thought a hit was clean? When have I ever promoted my own toughness? All I said in this thread was that I thought Torres' hit was clean, I appreciated him answering the bell, and that if a star player on my team is hit I want blood. I didn't say I'd personally skate out there and take the blood myself. My apologies for liking violence on a site dedicated to hockey fighting but I fail to see how you even began to jump to those wild conclusions as a result of my perception of a hit. I don't believe Torres targeted the head. I believe he hit a player who had his head down, just like you're supposed to. He slightly left his feet which makes it questionable but 25 games is an atrocity. There I go being a tough guy again... f*ck. Sometimes I just can't control myself. I'm oozing machismo; what can I say?
And to answer your question, yes, I have dropped the gloves, many times, but unfortunately not in front of 10-20 thousand people. Wasn't quite good enough or big enough for that.
And bravado is a funny thing; you're either born with it or you aren't I guess.

was a boss. Habitual line crosser and I didn't like the knee on knee stuff but I'll watch a Bryan Marchment
hit compilation any day of the week. Maybe twice tomorrow; it is Sunday after all.
