Jamal Mayers vs Jared Boll

Boll hit Marcus Kruger hard into the boards and Mayers came across to challenge him. Boll threw 3 punches then Mayers fell to the ice. Win Boll just because Mayers didn't throw one damn punch

Jamal Mayers vs. Jared Boll

Boll plasters Marcus Kruger with a hit and Mayers skates across from center ice to get at Boll. Both guys drop gloves at same time and Boll fires 3 rights before Mayers appeared to slip on a stick and goes down. Kind of a non-fight here but you could say WIN Boll. Mayers got an extra 2 minutes for Unsportsmanlike. As Mayers was going to the box you could read his lips saying "We'll go again."

Boll vs Mayers

After coming across the ice to get to Boll, after a hit on Kruger,Mayers looked to be off balance from the start. Boll did throw the only punches. Very short fight.

Agree.

*Edit*
Comcast replay shows Mayer's left foot stepping on a discarded glove, which caused him to be off balance.

Not much of a fight as Mayers steps on a glove and loses his balance right off the bat, but it was at least good to see him sticking up for Kruger (who gets obliterated at least once per game...I'm not sure how he's still alive). Win Boll for actually throwing punches though.

With all due respect to Mayers he needs to stay in his weight class (mw). He's a checker and energy, PK guy. Boll is a bad dude who throws with intent to hurt.

I'm done with Mayers falling or balance issue in most fights. The guy is a tremendous skater I just can't see why his balance goes to hell when his mitts are off.

2nd fight in a row I just watched from last night (Doan/Richards) where the instigating player seems less ready to go than the other guy he's starting the fight with.
