glad to see Iginla go finally, he hasn't done much this year, maybe getting old. Calgary needs some energy. Smid caught him with a nice overhand, but overall, draw.

Boyd-Cogliano was a really good, spirited scrap between a fairly unexpected pair of combatants. These two came out throwing a lot of punches right off the draw, it looked pretty even to me. Boyd could get the edge for getting in the better shots.
Iginla-Smid looked like a draw to me even though Smid may have landed the best punch in this fight. I'd give Regehr the edge over Staios in the third scrap, and Stone-Johnson was a crap draw. Always nice to see a few fights in a rivalry game like the Battle of Alberta.

TKO Boyd.
He dropped Cogliano with that right. Its hard to see because of the camera angle, but that right landed flush on the side of Colgiano's head. Right at the :10 mark he creamed him with that punch and Cogliano froze, and then fell over. He was finished by that punch. |
