Campbell put a stop to Kaleta running around all night by picking an early fight with him. Visor boy threw a ton of punches and yet couldn't land even one of them. Campbell didn't have a scratch - except on his left hand from hitting Kaleta's plexiglass protector. Campbell stepping up definitely set the tone for this game. Scott was a non-factor as usual. In fact, the only Sabre who showed up was Ryan Miller. Boston dominated from start to finish.

Easy win Kaleta. Boiston Garden was right and most of those early punches hit helmet but I think the uppercut at the end of the first exchange turned things around. Campbell was done and took a couple more uppercuts along the way.
You are becoming quite useless smashem. Talking about Stanley Cup rings, open net goals, and Prust like some teenager that just had his first beer. I always thought more of you than others do but I am starting to hope you choke on your next Natural Light. Quote:

Wild punches look cool, but they rarely land clean.

First, Campbell went looking for Kaleta and got beat down, period. HE looked for the fight so any whining about the visor right now really doesn't work. Second, Scott was a factor. He takes the intimidation factor away. Last season we had Lucic running wild, Thornton coming off the bench to mug Weber etc. this season? Nope. Not a peep. Unfortunately for the Sabres that means its strictly a hockey game at that point and frankly... They suck.... But you weren't taking a page from the Red Wings fans again were you?

What a **** game. Honestly though, Bruins aren't so big and bad with Scott around. No one even looked his way.

I'm sure a lot of Kaletas punches hit helmet. Usually the way it goes in hockey fights. I'm also pretty sure at least one of those uppercuts landed. Dissect it frame by frame and let me know, will ya?

Did they get the "revenge" you wanted over in the game day thread? Did Chara step up to Scott like you wanted? How did that all work out for you? Why not watch the entire game in slo mo and I'm sure you can see Chara glancing in Scott's direction somewhere.

Ask Thornton about Scott making his presence felt. Take away all the Bruins Bravado and you could honestly say that Scott being on the bench doesn't change the tone of the Sabres/Briins games? I don't think YOU even believe it when you say that! Last season they bullied the **** out of them. This season not even close. 0-2. What changed? I'm pretty sure it's not that Steve Ott is here.

Now before you and Peters stick your chests out, Scott didn't exactly strike the fear in anyone tonight either like some Sabres fans make it out to be....in fact I'd say he was invisible.
