Not often, beacuse there aren't too many guys out there who fit the bill. Certainly not on Buffalo.

Win Thornton

Gaustad/Thornton didnt seem like much landed. I watched the fight an hour ago, but I think it was more like a draw/edge Thornton

Easy win Stuart. Hecht didnt have much of a chance. Stuart was upset by an extra whack Hecht took at Rask. Earlier, there was a quick whistle and Hecht poked it in. He may have just been frustrated from that earlier play and took an extra whack because of it, as well as got his stick up in Stuart's face and that's how that started.

Wasn't much unfortunately. Deserved roughing minors at the most. Other refs would've just told them to knock it off.

Pretty active night for Thornton - two wins for him there. Gotta love a guy like Montador though, he'll go to war with anyone. Good team guy.

So fight filled games vs the Canes and Sabres for the Bruins...Not exactly the Broad Street Bullies. We are a MAJOR disappointment this year all around..

Would like the same tenacity vs the Leafs when they play, or the Flyers..

Something like

Thornton/Orr, Begin/Exelby, Stuart/Primeau
or
Thornton/Carcillo, Stuart/Laperierre, Bitz/Asham

Bruins don't seem as willing to go this year, but we did start out slow last year too...and the injuries hurt.

He's fought Boll, Roberts, Commodore and Dorsett as well...Not great but not terrible...Plus he was a US Collegiate, and they don't have the greatest track record generally...

If you ever tuned into a Bruins game all of his fights come from the heat of the moment during play or a couple times defending teammates...Tonight vs Hecht, he looked back after it was over like, "Who the hell was that even?"....

I would like him to step up a class no doubt however..

true that. I forgot about the Dorsett fight this preseason. Then again I think he should fight Laraque or Orr.......just playing

Good game. The fights were so-so, but I'll take them. Buffalo is soft. Lindy Ruff ought to be ashamed.

Win Thornton.
Edge Thornton.
Win Stuart.

Nice to see some fireworks in this intradivisional game, even if none of the fights were anything special. Montador is always a willing combatant, but he's just not a good fighter. Win for Thornton in their fight.

Thornton didn't give Gaustad much of a chance at the start of the second fight, but he didn't land a lot cleanly himself either. Edge Thornton in this scrap.

And I can't stand Jochen Hecht, so I enjoyed seeing Mark Stuart feed him a few punches to pick up the win in the third scrap.
