After seeing Chimps slo mo video i'll have to give the edge to Erskin.
The punch missed
As for some Bruin fans, take off your blinders, call as it is.

Why can you not admit a loss or a draw for that fact.
Does the Bruin always have to win.

These videos get dissected frame by frame for you homers,
You guys have done it to, it tells the truth so suck it up.

With all your homerism your just asking for BS
You guys jump on every body else.

Why do you have to show wins on this site, just to make your selfs happy,
call a win a win or a loss a loss, you only ruining the credibility of this site.

Funny how you bitch and moan about threads getting ruined by "Homers" so you feel the need to counter-act them...yeah that really works out swell.

It seems you strictly play the counter-act role in Bruins threads.

Let's be honest, if you replace Thornton with Orr in this fight there would be threads popping up all over the place about how Orr's rampage continues and this thread would be Orr ball washing.

The Leafs seem to be the consensus forum favorite, where as posters are seemingly foaming at the mouth to write the Bruins off.
That's not true, you're just paranoid. Have you read my posts in the "toughest team forum"? Guess not.

Yeah, I know you go at it with Leafs fans too. So I guess you're excluded.

However, considering all the crying some Flyers fan do about Bruins fans trolling Flyer threads...they certainly have overtaken this one.

Which still doesn't change the fact that Thornton's punch did not land. Therefore it is not a kd or a win for him.

How difficult do you people have to make it be?

I'd still give Thornton the win in this one. My perception is that Erskine's pat was an acknowledgement from him that he may have been bested, although slightly.

No truth, and the homer that posted it deleted it.

This is what Bruin homers resort to on this site.

They make up stuff to make the rest of us look wrong

As buddy would say

I never had a bone to pick with Bruins fans till recently. You have the biggest and blindest group of absolute homers I have ever seen.
Well you sound like an impartial observer I'm sure your anger towards Bruins fans doesn't skew your opinion at all.

No. The reasoning is so that haters like you can watch a fight frame by frame until you see what you want to see, which in this case is the Bruins player losing. Forget the fact that Thornton clearly knocked Erskine off his skates with a well placed right hand...even if it didn't land flush on his face.

Whatever man. This argument is dead. You and the other haters can tell yourself whatever makes you sleep better at night. But this one goes down in the record book as another "W" for Mr. Thornton.

All credit goes to djaye for the slo-mo video. I did nothing but copy+paste her link.

Also, people still respond to Bruins29?

FWIW, in todays Boston Herald Thornton stated that one of Erskine's punches caught him in the neck. Just figured I'd share that. Now back to your regularly scheduled sh!t show.

Proof positive folks, they are the blindest.

The argument is not dead just because you say it is. Fact is, Thorts did NOT win this fight. It was a draw.
