Stating the fact that MacDermid took the easiest of the three options isn't necessarily suggesting that he is scared. I'm sure he would fight McLaren if he had to but if he has the choice of course he is going to take the easy fight against Mark Fraser instead.

If Orr and McLaren aren't willing to actually do their jobs and force the issue then that's their fault not MacDermid's.
