Agreed. I don't see the connection. They may have gotten their butts kickced on the scoreboard.... but in the fight they have something to pound their chests over because - albeit the expected outcome- Thorts put a whoopin' on Commodore. Ronald is lucky he let up on him at the end. Commie's giant hair helmet probably cushioned the blow when his melon bounced off the glass!

Poor Commodore. The Lightning didn't provide Thornton much to choose from in terms of dance partners. Finding somebody on the Lightning who's willing to fight a heavyweight must be almost as difficult as Hockey Doc finding a woman who will actually talk to him.

They are the loudest and arguably the most obnoxious fans on the planet so when their team gets creamed, they are invisible but when they're winning, they won't shut up.

I've seen them troll just about every thread, especially if it's a Flyers, Habs, or Rangers thread with their Lucic worship, among other things and I just think it's very glaring that Thornton has a good win over a bigger opponent and none of them even comment?

Thornton pounded Commodore but the kid was game and didn't even have to except Thornton's challenge, no problem with Commodore.

The Bruins have given us plenty to cheer for over the past few years AND The Bruins and The Rangers are the most entertaining teams in hockey...most fights, great records, almost always entertaining games...even in the new NHL.

Thornton win...as expected. Whoever said it is correct, Commodore didn't need to fight Thornton and has to be given props for doing so. I can say this, Shawn is looking like the rest of the team, running on autopilot. What was the most spirited team in the league now seems lost and without a team personality. It's strange to say, but the team has not been the same since the "Thomas Incident." Very weird. I'm hoping they can turn things around before the playoffs. As far as the moronic trolls here...you do yourselves proud, you shining examples of your profession.
