I agree, it's nice when a fighter followes the "code". Us fans got a decent fight out of Thornton's classyiness.

Win Thornton.

Opening left helps Rosehill to the ice, Thorton lands a couple more decent shots, wins

Probably a DRAW but I'll vote Thornton because if he doesn't help Rosie up the nice little scrap doesn't happen, and he certainly didn't have to.

...edit, after watching it again (and again), Thornton definitely catches him with the left in the beginning.

Win THRONTON!

Whatever - Cannot believe that RH could throw with his left like that, is he a lefty?

Hard to tell from just freezing video, but it looked like ST caught Rosehill at the start and if so that was as quick a left jab as you'll see on an ice surface. Looked fast as a pro boxer's jab. I think he caught him with that opening shot so: Win Thornton. Class act too.

Props to Thornton for letting a fight happen. A guy like reaves would have jumped on Rosie for the linesman to come in.

Win Thornton. I would have preferred Thornton had started unloading on Rosehill when he was vulnerable, but Thornton landed the better punches to get the win nonetheless.

Thornton vs Rosehill - Draw. Love Thorts for spinning him around
and wanting to engage. Rosey looked like he lost a skate edge
as he was lunging while Thorts jabbed him,no biggy, glad they went
back at it,awkward but decent tilt.
