Props to Sestito for gathering himself after that bomb & staying on his skates. The only embarrassing moment of the night was Hartnell's cowardly turtling display when Thornton took him to task for his high hit on Kelley.

Good game!
good post, except for when you pretended hartnell turtled.

Ha, I don't know why I even bother responding to you, but I called Lucic the winner in the fight with Sestito.

You, meanwhile, called Thornton a "clear winner" in his fight with Shelley yet called the Rinaldo-Horton fight from a couple weeks ago a draw.

The proof is in the pudding.

First off, it was a great game that ended in a fagfest. Secondly, there was only 1 good fight, which was "won" (i guess for the punch counting nerds) by Lucic. Thirdly, this thread is a microcosym on why these forums suck anymore.

Ended in a "fagfest?" What does that mean? "Punch counting nerds?" Jeez, you are a bit "full" of yourself, are you not? Last...what does the bold part of your post mean? "...why these forums suck anymore?" It doesn't make any sense. Do you mean this forum sucks or it doesn't "anymore?" If you think it sucks why are you here? I'm always amazed by folks who don't like something but keep right on doing it.

Looks like that was one hell of a game. I hope Jagr, Brierre, and JVR are back by the time the Flyers play the Rangers again. Those were some big hits they showed after the Thornton fight and I don't think the Rangers could hang with that lineup if the game is in Philly.

Lucic with the win. He continues to impress.

Draw Kelly - Schenn

Draw Shelley - Thornton. Not sure how many landed here but it was not due to lack of effort. They went at it pretty good.

I thought what was funny was Thornton sticking his tongue out on the way to the penalty box, Good fights Jesus Looch has better power than most think. But that being said without the ragging. Thank god for the Flyers/Bruins/Rags/Habs fans on here otherwise this site would SUK, i think we all have to agree with that , Truth be known.

Good game!

Good post, but Hartnell did not turtle to Thornton. He actually dropped the gloves and attempted to fight th B's tough guy. That just happens to be how bad Hartnell is as a fighter.

Either way he rocked Kelly clean and Sestito rocked Horton clean. All within the rules. The only reason why hartnell got a penalty for his hit on Kelly was that the refs needed to cover there ass for not calling fighting majors.

He is entitled to his opinion, just like you are. You think you are better than him because he doesn't see things in your pathetic homeristic view. Ever notice that bruins homers are the most hated here, there's a good reason for that, they all adore Jack Edwards, the most pathetic excuse for a male life form in north america. Edwards must have banged every drunk skank in Boston and thus the Bruins fan base was born.

As for 17... Lucic sure can hit hard, not saying he will KO anyone, but his punches come with "ooomph", wish i could say the same with Thornton.

Your post is inane. Where did I say he wasn't entitled to his opinion? I don't believe I am "better" than him, I just believe his post makes no sense. Your rant on Jack Edwards places you in the category of mindless Bruins haters. Who gives a rat's patoot about the announcer? He gets paid to root for the Bruins. In case you hadn't noticed he's broadcasting on the Boston network...NESN...ring a bell? The "drunk skank" portion of your post is a schoolyard tantrum at best...at worst it's the babbling of a diseased mind. Wipe the froth off your screen and try to post something an adult can appreciate.

73% thought Lucic won and 52% gave it to Thornton. It must be all those Bruins fans stuffing the ballot box...and no, I have not voted. If I did I would give Lucic a definite win (not an edge) and Thornton a slight edge (couldn't argue with a tie).

You do realize that some of those disgusting bruins homers have multiple screen names, FattPatt/Whaler Fan, clydefrog/fotiere via, etc. that skew the voting and most ppl don't even bother paying attention to the outcome of those results. Go to the "brawl threads" where you have to expose yourself, thats the real vote that counts.

Isn't this a "brawl thread?" Aren't I here? There were 166 votes cast so far in the Lucic fight....roughly 1/4 went for a Lucic win....that's about 40 votes. Now how many of those would you estimate were ballot stuffers?
