For example, you could explain what Thornton did to earn such a decisive victory in this fight. First off, where do you see me saying that Thornton "earn(ed) such a decisive victory?" Please, point it out. I was surprised to see Thornton going southpaw for most of the fight, made me wonder if his right hand was damaged. As for the results...a draw. Anyone who says that Shelly one is a Philly homer...but that's what's got your panties in a bunch...I don't see anything wrong with homers. This is a forum concerning HOCKEY FIGHTS. I belong to other forums that focus on math. literature and politics. I expect them to present fact based arguments. Here I expect to find FANS. You know, people who root for a specific team. As far as I'm concerned they should be proud of their homerism...they're good fans. Yes, I loved Derek Sanderson as the B's color guy...he was the greatest homer ever to grace the airwaves. As for the other fights...Kelly's didn't amount to much and Lucic just handed Sestito a plain old fashion beat down. Questions?

Nevermind the fact that the normal Bruins posters have all talked about what a great game it was, commended the Flyers on their play today and commented on how the Flyers really took it to the Bruins physically (while a Flyers fan didn't utter a bad word about the Bruins) and these clowns come in here piggy backing on each other trying to start trouble. Bunch of f*cking losers bigging it up like they actually play for the Bruins.

Shouldn't you also ask the reasoning behind those giving Shelly the win? I think it was a draw but those who gave Thornton the win probably did so because he was more active and seemed to land the only solid punch of the fight. I could have missed one from Shelly when Thorton's back was to the camera but what they heck. However you want to look at it Shelly definitely did not win that fight.

My comment about Kelly was referencing a stupid move in the moment; I would have said the same thing about a Flyer in that position. I followed it up by saying it was cool that he fought just stupid in terms of the penalty he knew that would come from it.

RC's was a sarcastic response to the sh*t you guys say about Shelley; nothing negative about Thornton.

And certainly none of that you quoted was directed at Bruins fans.

I didn't say he won, I said if some Flyers posters can claim Shelley "won" or got an "edge". Then why couldn't a Bruins poster say Thornton "won" or got an "edge". I mean that fight was pretty close don't you think?

All in all I'd say Thornton did as much as Shelley to get the decision in that fight if were giving them out.

In the first one Lucic got the win over Sestito (Sestito was physical all game), Kelly and Schenn was a draw after a great hit by Schenn, and Thornton and Shelley was a spirited draw.
