Did you ask yourself that after Gaustad vs Lucic?

I love campbellīs style of playing the game. he can hit, score and fight. Yes heīs not the best fighter but he has no fear and is willing to go with nearly everyone... heīs a good teammate and would step up for his teammates against everyone... and I think he doesnīt get big beatings against better fighters!

Win Haley and think he would hold his own against Lucic.

Win Haley for appearing to land the better punches against Campbell, but not overly one-sided.

If I'm remembering right from a few hours ago, I'm pretty sure Haley threw a big hit on Campbell earlier on, which may have led to them coming together. I agree that Haley has shown a little better prowess at fighting than Campbell, and maybe a guy like McQuaid would be a more even opponent, if he weren't hurt, but Campbell did okay for himself. I love the guy, but I don't see Haley as likely to do very well against either Thornton or Lucic.

16pts is it for Campbell this year? You are right about fighting skill, and the winner of the fight.I can't see how Haley is not mentioned here.He does all the above with a lot more intensity and lighter on the wallet.Take this guy any day on my team. He's a breath of fresh air on this club and hopefully will stay up.

Whats with Bruins fans,

Everytime their player loses a fight they talk about 'not being able to wait for (Insert players name) to smash the other players face in'

Troll...
What are you even talking about?
Gaustad vs Lucic?
This is a Boston vs NY Islanders thread.
Nobody cares about Buffalo for good reason.
Explain to me please how this above post by you is not trolling.
Lucic beat your boy "Goose from Buffalo not Goose from TOP GUNS ass" and....?
Why and for what reason are you bringing that up?

The definition of trolling.

Yup, you're correct. NESN had a great replay of the fight and the earlier incident.

McQuaid, Lucic, Thornton, would have rocked that kid.
Step up your game rookie! Make a case for yourself. In my opinion this kids stock actually dropped after this fight.
Islanders fans have been running their mouths so much on here lately lol. Rolston etc.
There were more Bruins fans on The Isle then Isles fans on The Isle this afternoon.
Shhhh....
Disagree. Haley gave Campbell a pass by not moving in for the kill at the end of the scrap, when Haley had the opportunity to hammer Campbell's face.

...And though I doubt Haley could take Lucic or Thorton, I feel pretty certain he'd at least hold his own (and not get "mauled" or "massacred" by either one). I suspect if Haley were their size and weight, he'd mop the ice with either one of them.

You can feel pretty certain about a lot of things, I BELIEVE Lucic, McQuaid, or Thornton would have "mauled" or "massacred" Haley seeing his performance in that fight with Campbell.
All we know from that fight is that Haley...could not "maul" or "massacre" -your words- Gregory Campbell.
You claim Haley gives Campbell "a pass"
The New York Islanders are not in the position to give anyone "a pass"
Make a statement!

If the Islanders were in fact giving anyone "a pass" in their own building , with more Bruins fans then Isle fans, outplayed, out muscled, within a couple of years of not even having a team anymore, then shame on them.

WOULD not; not "could not". There's a big difference.

Watch the end of the clip again, when Haley refrained from opening up on Campbell's face, even though Haley had him prone. ..."Would not" or "could not"?

"Did not"
Do you understand now?
He did not.
What 'm saying is that he should have unloaded on Campbell's face.
This is why The Islanders may not have a team in a couple of years.
No heart.
Anything and everything should have been done.
There will not be an Isles team in a few years but I would definitely
remember Haley teeing off on Greg Campbell.
Oh, forget it, if you haven't gotten it by now you never will.
